Much better than I ever expected

I don’t know why I didn’t check the App Store before now to find this type of application. I like to listen to audiobooks as well as podcast but long articles on the web require me sitting down and Reading them. I’d rather listen to when article and do my housework chores. Natural reader lets me listen to the articles as I walk around, it’s perfect. I have no problem with the interface. I really liked the idea of being able to go directly to an HTML article on the web or Chip East in article into the application. I haven’t tried looking at a PDF but I expect it to be is good as the other application. If I had to have one criticism it’s that it’s a little confusing as to whether or not I have paid for certain features. For instants I paid the $10 for the application, but I can’t tell if I need to pay more for other voices. However I really like changing the voice to Tom who has the most natural sound and cadence.

Sounds Robotic w/ no intonation

PrissyPants73

This has to be one of the worst readers ever. I purchased the Pro version but it wouldn’t let me give them a poor review.... go figure. Every time I would hit the one star it would boot me out. Do NOT waste your money purchasing the Pro because it’s no better than the free version. The Pro version only offers more voices to choose from, but they all sound so robotic that it really doesn’t matter which you choose. In addition, it cuts off the beginning and end to several words, and reads the text with absolutely no fluctuation or intonation in the voice. In addition, it reads the text as one continuous run-on sentence. As if all of that wasn’t bad enough, it literally reads EVERYTHING on the page.... so chapter headings, the references in parentheses, EVERYTHING. It’s definitely not worth buying the pro, or in my opinion, even downloading the free one. This app needs MAJOR improvements.

I just downloaded it and I'm excited

Without doing any research, I used to think there were no apps to read PDFs aloud. I'm very excited to discover this apps. I've tested it with a few PDFs and it works well. It highlights what it's reading so you can follow along. And you can use it in the background. 4 stars because it has trouble with pauses and reading the next lines but I still like it.

WORST READER

kc5500

Has the most horrific voice like a guy is trying to sound like a girl. Sort of like “Susan” from Eureka voiced by Fargo. lol Also its a waste of storage space.

Lame!

Says it’s free 15 minutes later you are either waiting an hour or paying 10$. Not worth your time.

Love this app

Acid Ace R

I love this app. It is compatible with my drop box so I can listen to my stories from there. No complaints from me. This app is awesome

Just fine

Fix this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted to use this so I could listen to my e books. You have to be in the app though for it to continue reading. As soon as I open another app or my phone screen locks, it stops reading.

Ok reading, but the trial was annoying

Metalman2.0

For the time it lets you listen, it seemed ok. Didn't sound the best ever, but it was understandable so it was fine for my needs. The reason I gave it 2 stars is because I didn't see any warning that you only get the 15 minutes before you have to wait a long time to use it again, so I had it set up to read my Algorithms textbook on my way to campus when it just randomly stopped and then I found out about the trial. I'm sure the warning is hidden somewhere, but I feel it should be obvious in the description.

Breath of fresh air

This app is amazing, I can imagine it only gets better. I’ve use just about every other reading app on the App Store to make my choice. While some had features that this app don’t have. This app still have the best feature of all of them combine. **PRONUNCIATION EDIT** (worth the $price)
