I tried downloading from Dropbox and t keeps having an error, I click on the how to download from email or computer and it just shows a blank screen, what was the point of paying money if when I upgrade the service gets worse
NR is better than (most) other text to speech programs I've tried. I say most because I've switched to Voicepaper because the pronunciation and cadence is significantly better. On the upside, the place in the text is highlighted as the speech progresses so I can read a snippet of unclear. It has great support for importing from the web, Dropbox etc. The downside is that it too often mispronounces words and has an unnatural cadence. NR could be improved by enunciating some words clearer, talking slightly slower (or better ability to control speed), pausing at line breaks and bullets. If they fixed those issues, I'd buy it again but presently it needs a few critical improvements to get over the usability hump.
I used the free version, worked good. Just now paid for the pro version, and when I hit play, the pages just quickly flip all the way through the document and doesn't read anything. Both 15% buttons are flashing while pages are constantly turning.
This app is a must have for individuals with Dyslexia or who just prefer to have written material read aloud to them. *Affordable *Best Text-to-Speech on the market *Easy to use Compared to Dragon, I found NaturalReader easier to use with as good or better Reading fluency for significant less cost.
There is not point in having an iPhone app designed to read books aloud, that does not access iBooks. Square peg in a round hole dilemma, except in this case there's no hole at all. (Oh, and it doesn't work with kindle either.)
I absolutely love this App, I've had it for three years now and can't live without it.
It really good at reading web pages and pasted text, but it has dome pronunciation problems. Like saying that a program is live, ( pronounced ly-ve) it pronounces it as live, as in something has life. Otherwise it comes in handy if I'm too lazy to read. Peace Whoga
This has great features and a variety of voices. I really like the versatility.
Horrible changes to a once great program. Please change it back!! It distorts the words and the reading is strange.
