Disappointed it doesn't have all parks.

For the $13.99 I paid for "all parks" I expected to get just that. Not just the "popular 28 or so parks. I expect more from National Geographic. National monuments should be included too.

Love it

Being national geographic I expect top quality maps, photos, advice etc. The free info with map integration is wonderful. I used to have the national parks hd app which was outstanding. This is as close to that as it gets. I think paying to marginal fee for the complete set of these guides is a real value. I paid more then $14 for one guide 10 years ago in paperback!! ( and I'd usually buy 5 or 6 for each trip) I've come to realize it's worth paying for some things. People tend to complain now days when they actually have to pay an artist or adventurer for something that is actually valuable and took time and resources to create. This app looks beautiful. And It's nice to not have advertising bars popping up all over the screen like on many free apps as well. Even without paying for the expanded content it's worth having. My 2 cents.

Doesn't work
Music Cridic 420

I haven't been able to use this app for a full minute without it freezing and becoming completely unresponsive

Big Disappointment !!!
tmaddenut

Horrors! The beautiful contour maps are gone, along with trails, streams, bridges, buldings, trail intersections, miles, and loads of other useful information. If I want aerial photographs I can go to Google Earth. I'm deleting the app. It is of almost no value. Boo NG, Boo!!!

where's New Mexico
dont want to leave a nickname

I expected a popular and intelligent company like National Geographic not to leave out some of the states. New Mexico has several National parks and monuments. How could you leave the whole state out of your list. I will be deleting this app

App is broken
Jonny C 2244

Every time I turn the phone sideways to view the pictures better, the app essentially freezes. (It still functions but barely)

?? Hope it helps !!!!

Rather useless

Park websites and internet are MUCH more useful. This app has nothing special to offer and is a total waste of money plus it is buggy. Very disappointed in National Geographic for letting this app out the door. But love National Geographic thus my surprise and disappointment in this app.

$2 too much
Jctakoma

You'd think clicking on a trail would bring up a trail guide and not just a single pin...

When are the rest of the parks going to be added?
stageman99

Love the app, but I was expecting the rest of the national parks to be added at some point. I paid the 14$ for what I thought would eventually be a complete guide...... Not yet.
