THIS APP WILL NOT WORK WITH ANY UPDATES AFTER IOS11. THE DEVELOPER OF THE APP NEEDS TO FIX THE APP SO ITS COMPATIBLE. Hopefully this is fixed because I've been using nanostudio for years and I'm absolutely captivated by everything about it.

Solid app with nice sounds and seems more professional than GarageBand. The only issue I have is that uploading to YouTube is a pain in the a**. The SoundCloud converter doesn't work either. It took me a couple hours to figure out how to download my beats to YouTube but it is possible.
One fix left....

Used this for many years. Only advice left is for bluetooth comparability. Still frustrates me when I'm in bed, want to record a melody, and my phone wakes up my lover because my phone starts making strange noises and I have to hunt for a wired headset. Will give a 5 ⭐️ when you fix this OLD problem.

09/20/17 I'm still using this great app. I got NanoStudio in September of 2010. I've used it on all of my devices since then. iPhone 3s, 4s, and 6s as well as various iPads (but I prefer using the iPhone). It's my favorite app of all time, without a doubt. I'm hoping that you are still developing a new version, but if not, I will be happy with this one. 04/22/2015 This is still the best music making app I've used. I've been using Nano Studio since 2010, and I've sort of adapted my songwriting to maximize its abilities. It is so convenient to compose on an iPhone. I only use my desktop DAW (Cubase primarily) for finishing touches. Update: Nanostudio remains the best music app on the iPhone. Thank you so much for creating this awesome tool. However, there are two general wishes on my list: 1) the ability to use instrument samples in their original stereo format within the Eden synth. That would add a level of richness to the sound and that would make me extremely happy. 2) easier ways to record vocals (with pitch correction, etc.). This is a lot to ask of an already great app, but I would be willing to pay for the upgrade. Nanostudio remains the best music app on the iPhone. It is possible to do just about anything with this app. Upload your own wav samples from your favorite sample library if you want more options. GarageBand looks good, but is nowhere near as deep as Nanostudio. Thanks for making my favorite app. Update: I just realized that GarageBand doesn't have a midi/note editor! What good is that? Most music apps (Garageband included) are just toys compared to Nanostudio. ------- Version 1.2 is fantastic, and upgrading from 6 to 16 tracks for an additional $4.99 is a bargain. If one can improve on perfection, adding audio tracks for vocals/mic instruments along with effects/autotune/etc. would be awesome (I know you've been considering this). Your support on your website's message boards is swell. Keep up the great work. ------ I've used NanoStudio since September 2010. Loved it then. Love it now. You can sample (record sounds on the iPhone like tapping a dog with a knife or saying words like "fire," or import WAV samples). Excellent midi editor. Nice variety of sounds, effects. Midi out. I export my mixdowns as WAV and import into my DAW (e.g. Cubase 5) and elaborate using my favorite VST plugins. Then I listen to my songs by myself and think that nobody understands or appreciates my geniosity. -------- Thank you for making this app! I can't believe it is not in the top 10! I am a Cubase user, but I find myself using nanostudio quite a lot (especially on the toilet - very inspirational)! My wife says that I'm always on the toilet! Little does she know that now, thanks to nanostudio, I'm actually composing songs about toilets and/or dogs! Won't she be surprised!

Update: 9.23.17 I love this app and was in the middle of an important track when I upgraded to iOS 11 and now I can’t even open the app until it’s updated. Please update ASAP! I need to finish this music ??? This app is by far the best all in one studio app on the market. The ease of the intua copy/paste function integrates seamlessly with your other favorite sound/music apps. If you've spent anytime with a DAW the controls will be completely intuitive.

I fell in love with the iPhone/iPad because of this app. I've used it for thousands of hours over many years, and it's still the best. Please just do the minimum to make it iOS 11 compatible.
