You have to be the dumbest person out there you can import your own sample that's all you need do if you don't like the sounds that are on board import your own with FTTP server that's free I just need an update for iOS 10 some features stopped working other than that it's greeeeeat!!!!

Best sequencer UI but tragically lacks midi out

Qualifying statement -- I'm a long time Nanostudio user, early adopter on the iPad 1. I love the linear sequencing UI. I can sequence like lightning here, far faster than my Laptop DAWs like Reason and Cubase. Lack of midi output cripples what could otherwise be a crazy awesome sequencing app. IMO the UI for sequencing is far superior to Cubasis. However I now use Cubasis far more because Nanostudio tragically and perplexingly lacks midi output implementation and I sequence external gear. Basically I sequence in Nanostudio, export midi through nanosync, reimport into Cubasis, and that's the absurd workflow. Sequencing directly in Cubasis is painful by comparison. I am not fond of the Nanostudio sampler/synths, they sound underpowered and cheesy to me. So for no midi out and cheesy synth, 3 stars instead of 5.

I'd happily pay a yearly subscription fee for NS. It's a brilliant app, but it could use a recompile. Do what Audiobus does: charge for new releases. You make it, we'll buy it. In the good old days, developers were paid much more for apps like this, and they got more for upgrades, etc. Niche markets can be tough, but NS is so great. I can't even imagine how amazing it could be with some updating. Whatever you decide to do, thank you for having made NS in the first place. It really showed what iDevices could do.

I love this app!! I keep coming back to this synth over and over!! I have a studio full of classic synths but I keep using this one!! Thank you for designing it so it works with the Akai synthstation keyboard. I wish more app designers would do this. The only extra thing I could feel right asking for is a couple of new banks of sounds cause the ones you have are so great!! Good Job!! Please do some more!! May 2017 - I really am disappointed that this app hasn't been updated. It was great when it first came out but now it's way behind...
