Good content, terrible UI

The content here is good, but the app is terrible to use. No landscape mode on iPad, so if you use your iPad mainly in landscape orientation with a keyboard, you can’t even read articles. And if you scroll too far down an article, the app interprets that as “I’m done” and closes the article — which is something that happens a lot because so many links to “related” articles are interspersed within articles that you never know if you’ve reached the end of an article or if there’s more if you scroll more. Update 1/1/2022: Whenever I open the app I get an error that “You appear to be offline” — I’m online and every other app works fine.

I haven’t been able to open the app and read ANY article. I have deleted and reloaded the App. It always says, “You appear to be offline, connect to your internet.” NEEDLESS TO SAY I AM ONLINE, sitting right next to my router!

App says my direct tv service does not include NBC Bay Area . It does . And I can’t stream.

Video player needs updating

The entire app needs a more user friendly update, especially the video player. Video starts automatically, there’s no video options (increase screen size, rewind, rotate, etc…). In addition Picture in Picture is pretty standard now, which this app doesn’t offer. Also, air play barely works with this app with videos.

Articles are good but they never update enough, same articles are there day after day. Whats the point of a sports website if you don’t have fresh content.
