Much better

This game was impossible to play with all it's glitches, however big fish went back and fixed all the problems and now they have a terrific game.

If you hate yourself, it's a great game!

Fantastic opportunity for you to feel stupid. They call it "casual games" for a reason. I don't want to have to sit down and study blueprints in order to figure out Part 1 of a 6 part puzzle. Oh, for the halcyon years of the original MCF games

Zero glitches, five star FUN

I've read in some other reviews that there were initially glitches, but they had been fixed. Apparently that's true, as I had no problems aside from the occasional puzzle that was a tad particular about where you touched. I love that the storyline has all the humor of the past MCF's & the little Easter eggs that are sprinkled throughout are a fun bonus. The puzzles are in a similar vein to past MCF's too, in that they are layered and challenging at times. This I love, because if there's one thing I hate, it's a game that holds my hand. The only negatives I can see are that body count does rack up, (didn't bother me but prob. not for the younger players) and that it felt a little rushed during the final few puzzles & bonus game. But very few gripes here. A solid 4 1/2 to 5 star game. The most enjoyable game for me in recent memory.

It's hard & that's good!!

I am very much enjoying the game. The puzzles require a lot of focus and thought. I don't let myself skip them, so I've had to leave them and come back to get a fresh vantage point to solve them. The graphics are good and I like the storyline too! One of my favorite so far.

Fun and different

Good game, I didn't experience any glitches, and the puzzles and mini games were very original and engaging

Hard to follow...so,so

Roho$$

Got stuck on some of the puzzles, multiple tasks and inventory kept it busy

Mystery case files broken hours

Great game with challenging puzzles. Creepy in a good Halloween way. Appears to have some replay value

What happened to the voices???

nanam00n

The game and puzzles are cool. But halfway through the game the voices stopped working! What’s up with that??? This is not the only game that this has happened to... BigFish couldn’t afford to pay the actors to voice the entire game???

Thank goodness for Eipix

Great fun. Totally playable and re-playable game unlike many of Big Fish's other lame releases. Only Eipix and Elephant games give you this much for your money. So many other reviewers seem to feel this game is confusing or too hard. It's a challenge, but what good is a game if it isn't? If you want it to be a simple lead you by the nose kind of game choose the casual setting in the menu options. Then you won't have to use your brain. I love the challenge and have chosen the hardest possible difficulty. Wimps! Well done Eipix. A true winner.

Uses the brain

I like the Mystery Case Files series, in general, but also the last few because I felt I had to figure more things out on my own, instead of someone holding my hand in the whole game. I love the different difficulty choices, I really hate when a game gives you a password and then puts it in your inventory, so it’s directly next to spot you need to punch it in... they might as well just punch in the code for others but instead they use it for a you game! Type in the numbers you see? what kind of game is that? I think this game is challenging people (a little bit more then the usual) and the storylines are awesome, you can tell they put a lot of work into this and that it’s active is always funny. Please keep making more like this!!
