Once A GREAT SERIES, now average at best...

*I didn't have any technical problems or glitches on my iPhone 6s. *I enjoyed the 'Rube Goldberg' style puzzles, one of the few things Eipix carried over from the original MCF (I think Return to Ravenhurst had them)..... but other than that this game was like every other game that comes out now. Our Master Detective isn't assertive & bold like they use to be. Story is marginal, they try to be 'creepy' but fall short, really short! Eipix is ok not awful, but not great... They're very predictable & Im just never really excited about most of their games (even Hidden Expedition has waned). *MCF's was an AWESOME SERIES that I REALLY looked forward to from it's inception thru 3 Ravenhurst's, The First Dire Grove, 13th Skull, & Shadow Lake (& non mobile releases like The Malgrave Incident etc.). Even the second Dire Grove & Fate's Carnival, the first 2 'post BF Studios/A woods releases' developed by Elephant were pretty good, better than Eipix. BUT, it's been down hill ? Basically every MCF's done AT Big Fish Studios and made by Adrian Woods was AMAZING & so exciting when they came out. They were original, eerie, even creepy, amazing storylines, extremely unique gameplay, use of real 'actors', the scenery & graphics were perfect for the feel, & our Master Detective was awesome, ready to take on any weirdo & didn't mince words! I had no idea BF sold off their studio & parted ways with Mr Woods until I did some research -such a BUMMER! I had been emailing BF to return to the original style & BF would always reply 'they'd let the appropriate people know' all the while they knew those days were gone! *I still hold out hope it will be great again, but the hope is dimming with each release. I know the next one is Eipix again. I think the only way -MAYBE- we could get some of the cutting edge, unique style back to MCF's is if the series was continued by Mad Head?

Crashes constantly. Bummer, because it seems like a cool game.

Incredible game... held my interest! Had big twist at end of bonus! If it holds my interest, then it's a great game!

Disappointed

Was happy to see a new case files game. Long enough. Needs clearer instructions on some of the puzzles.

Broken is almost a three * game

MCF was one of the very first games I played on my computer a long time ago. I make it a habit to play this type of game. Let me say first that this would probably be a three star except for the nostalgia I feel for MCF. Unfortunately, it isn't enough to get a great review. The game was fun, a little (a lot?!) dark but all MCF are, right? Anyway, the puzzles were fun, the hidden objects were ok, storyline a tiny bit redundant. With all that said, it's worth the $$.

Horrid!!

Pirate Girl 562

I liked this game until it got to the horror aspect. Theres a part where they take someone's eyes!! These games have gone too far with the horror elements. Lets dial it back Big Fish!

This game keeps you on your toes! I couldn't put it down, yet I was almost afraid to play it at night. The mini game instructions were a bit vague though
