Very dark and depressing

The game was very dark. Both in content and on some of the puzzles, To the point you could hardly see what you need to do. The puzzles were also very confusing at times. And the directions didn't make much sense.

I really enjoy mystery case files but was a bit disappointed with no extras. The game and puzzles were good. I love the imagery and artwork.

I like the fun adventure storylines. (pirates, lost worlds, etc.) This one was too dark and ugly for me.

I've barely begun playing, before I'm cut off and forced to pay...??So here's an idea: ? Have the customer fully engaged in the game, at least mid-way....no one likes to abandon a game they've invested time in. Geez. I hope it's worth it....

Updated: I am deducting a star because the HOS scenes after the trial are mainly lists and the graphics are decreasing in quality. Based on free trial: Right from the start, I was ensnared by the beautiful and mysterious opening cutscene with a strange creature whose head is wrapped in bandages saving a war veteran. The graphics seem like they have improved, but some cleaning would be great to enhance the game. The puzzles and HOS are creative and challenging which is expected in this series. I LOVE find and use HOS, especially the one in this game. A couple of puzzles are incorporated into the HOS as well. The pace is a little bit faster in my opinion than other MCF games which I do enjoy. The plot will most likely unfold even more as I progress because I will purchase this game! My true rating is 4.5 due to graphics, but I am rounding it up to 5 stars!

Wow, finally a game I can rave about. I personally don't pay much attention to the story line but at least no fairies and red eyed monsters. The high point of this game were the most creative, intelligent, original games I've ever seen! I really felt mentally challenged which is why I enjoyed it so much. Can't thank the creators enough. Loved it!!!!

This would have been perfect if not for the darkness on every scene. I realize it is for the creepy effect,but,it makes it hard to see ANYTHING at all. This means we cannot even enjoy the incredible artwork! Such a waste. Good HOS and puzzles out the wazoo.

Good game, not much for story line at the end and had the shortest bonus content I’ve ever seen. Overall it was a great puzzle mystery that had one after the other of figuring out a new puzzle. Good job done . I give it thumbs up

Good in some ways

I just had trouble following the story, parts of it are very confusing. A lot of things you have to do have absolutely nothing to do with the storyline. The reason I gave it 4 stars was the quality of the graphics, the interesting puzzles (although I felt the instructions for some of these were a bit off) and the puzzle parts you had to find- a nice little extra. It would have been great if it made some sense.
