Too glitchy

J. J. Ramsey

It seemed fine at first, but I found that the words that appeared in the keyboard area did not match what was in the text box in Facebook. Great idea, but a pain to actually use.

Excellent

Probably the best iPhone app to take my poor handwriting and turn it into text. The only improvement that I could think of is to make the hand writing interpretation and scrolling faster.

Love this utility

I use my iPad mini instead of paper because this app allows me to write almost as fast as I can type on the iOS virtual keyboard. I did find that the Bamboo Solo stylus made the handwriting recognition slightly better. It's not perfect but I would blame most issues on my sloppy writing.

Can not get out of setup mode??

Downloaded on my iPad Pro w/ 11.3 I could no exit settings to use app.

Great

I am able to change up to about 20 colours for my former notes. I take notes with my 2-in-1 stylus pen (both stylus snd pen at the same time). For my newer note files as of 4 Nov 2017, I only have about 3-4 choices of colours. Another thing is: not being able to Adde another page like Before. This needs to be fixed. Thanks.

Need Better customer Support

Initially I loved this app as I much prefer writing to typing. However, as someone else mentioned the cursor occasionally skips around. More concerning is the backspace / delete that will spontaneously wipe out my work and there is no way to stop it!! When reported to customer support their response was essentially "too bad, it's a Beta, don't have an update planned". If they fix these concerns I would certainly advocate for this app but if not-steer clear!

Love this app and use it daily but....

Tina Dawson

f lone this app and I use it on a daily basis at school, work and as an Author. But, it needs to be updated for los 11 and I have found at times the app begins to lag when writing. I heue contacted support, and they have told me there were no plans to update it. Please consider updating this awesome app as you do your Nebo app. You don't understand how this app has helped me in many ways. please update it. Thank-you.

Getting better all the time.

When I first started using this I found it awkward, I didn’t like the feel of it using the Apple pen, it was too often incorrect when it converted my handwriting and I stopped using it for a time. I returned to it recently and it seems much more accurate now which saves me a lot of time. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star is because I’d like more feedback from the pen—using the Apple stylus /pen feels slippery on the display and I tend to write much sloppier than using a pen with the weight, heft and tip size of my choice—it would be nice to have some feel of drag across the “paper” is what I think I’m trying to say. However, I definitely recommend this program to those in a profession where taking notes on a keyboard is too distracting, rude or otherwise less optimal—Stylus allows a much more natural way of writing and interacting at the same time. I’d say good for journalists, interviewers, therapists, doctors...

Best of it’s kind. Only of it’s kind.

I love my Apple Pencil and would use hand writing exclusively if I could. I use my MacBook Pro when I can sit and type seriously. I also have the Apple Smart Keyboard and several Bluetooth keyboards. They never seem to be around when I have a story idea, not to mention typewriting is good for somethings but hand writing is therapeutic. I want to grab my Apple Pencil and just write. It’s better now that Apple has improved the notes app to serve exactly this purpose but while I have every notebook app in the store but while Apps for drawing are plentiful I’m still searching for hand writing on a list making app or on a calendar. If one exists i haven’t found it. Enter Nebo script. You literally can hand write in any app. It’s not as good as writing directly on the page. (I hate writing in that small bottom section) but that’s not Nebo’s fault. Enable offers a solution that no one else has come up with. It works beautifully and and two more apps Accept hand writing, it’s the best solution around. I highly recommend it and can’t imagine anyone not having a use for it if they own an Apple Pencil.

Please update? Do you take suggestions?

There hasnt been any updates for a year now. Will there be any more improvements with iOS 11? Myscript keyboard has been buggy within some apps I use since the update. I also wanted to make a suggestion for the iOS team if they could add customizable gestures for the myScript app maybe to add Unicode characters or maybe spell out short hand abbreviations.
