How am I supposed to use the app if every user name I try is taken? And the suggestions given to me are taken?

So the app is fantastic but I'm taking away a star because of all the emails I receive now from under armor since getting the app. Under armor is no longer affiliated with the app but that doesn't stop them from emailing me multiple times a day in spite of the fact that I've now unsubscribed 5 times. Not directly the fault of the app, I guess, but I couldn't select to not receive emails when I downloaded the app and now they won't go away.

In the last 24 hours my iPhone 11, with current iOS and background updates/refresh setting turned off, reports 59% battery usage, even though I have not used the app in over 8 days. The app was open in the background but not being used. I had similar problems about 4 months ago and after reporting to Apple support that my phone was hot to the touch for multiple days with regular or less than regular use, it was identified the this app was the culprit. I enjoy this app but will ultimately need to delete it from my phone if the issue cannot be resolved.

I’m almost to the point of giving up on this app even though I’ve been a subscriber for years. I constantly have to kill the app and reopen to get it to show how many calories I’ve used for the day. Super annoying when you’re trying to pre plan your day!

I love MyFitnessPal, in fact I’ve been using the app since 2017. But lately since underarmour ditched or left partnership, the app has been wonky. There’s a lag and often times I have to force close to the point where I get annoyed. I usually don’t rewrite reviews, yet here I am because I’m asking to a new version without the bugs.

I really do love this app. You don’t need the premium membership. As long as you’re dedicated to making it work, all you need to do is log your food, do your own workouts (that work for you) and maintain your calorie deficit and you’ll see a difference. It just takes self discipline and patience, but as long as you have the will, you’ll get there. Be nice to yourself, and work on accepting yourself as you are while on your fitness journey, because it’s just as much of a mental journey as it is a physical one.

Hands down, this is the worst app I’ve ever encountered on the App Store. It locks up constantly to the point of being unusable. Now, I can’t even get the app to launch! It just hangs on the load screen. I’m using the free version, so I guess I got what I paid for.
