It has problems and is unneeded

I understand circle and that it was made to get kids to bed on time but for me and my family other methods worked have worked a lot better. Circle slows your WiFi down a lot which is a problem I have seen from other old reviews that still has not been fixed. Circle also randomly stops your phone in the middle of the day even though your bedtime was not set for then. It also turns electronics off early sometimes which can be very stressful when a lot of productivity and learning with apps like Duolingo and Khan academy is done before bed because numerous studies say that before bed is actually the best time to learn and your progress is stopped and erased by random early bedtimes. When an app is blocked on this app it just looks like the app is taking long to load or the app signs you out and you can’t sign back in I have been logged out of many accounts because of this and this is very stressful. Finally although a lot of others have touched on this I would like to say using an app to parent your child is not okay. If you want your kid to not be on their phones you shouldn’t use yours to take theirs away. Have them actually hand you their phones or trust them to get sleep have them put their phones in your room and keep them plugged in overnight. Take your kids phone and they miss it for a sad night or two which is hard for both of you but teach your kid to limit cell phone time with hobbies and teach them to put their phones away and they will have learned a good lesson and will not be angry at you for using an app to control them and instead be happy you talked with them.

This review is actual criticism, not 3 year old complaining. First off, when I run out of WiFi time, I can’t call or text. I should be able to do both. Second, 90% of the time, I’m “using WiFi” when I’m on my phone lock screen. It count my apps running in the background as usage of WiFi, which is awful. Third, the MyCircle app itself has to have WiFi to work. The app that the developers made and just tracks WiFi requires you to have WiFi, and eats into your WiFi time. Overall the system is awful and very buggy. I have many more problems with this program, and so do my parents. It’s a decent idea but you didn’t work out the kinks early on.

MyCircle is always glitching and it’s so stupid what’s the point I think parents should trust their kids on what they do on their devices and it would be better if it even worked ?

is this app some kind of joke? it’s so glitchy i am constantly having to bug my parents to restart the router. such a pain. do not spend the money it is not worth it at all. always arguing with my parents about how glitchy it is, and overall making my relationship with my family worse because they don’t understand how badly this app works. it is also affecting my imessage and phone calls. also making most of my apps not work at random times throughout the day. i could go on and on about this app that should not exist. overall horrible app.

Ok, I may be 12, but I’m not complaining. This doesn’t work. Heck, even UnGlue Kids (despite having a worse name) works better. Notifications barely work nowadays. The time keeping system is buggy. And my parents would say that even some apps that need me to be online work after bedtime. The app itself doesn’t work very often either. You better not give me the meetcircle junk or “compromise” stuff. Fix this and I may give a 2 star rating.

If your kids are smart, they’ll delete their social media on their own for free. And if you’re having trouble getting your kids to come to the kitchen for dinner, I don’t even know how that’s even possible, because if there’s food, I’ll be running downstairs at the speed of light. Maybe you need to learn how to cook or something, because nothing on the internet could keep me away from my dinner ?

The Circle is very slow and is often incorrect. I find it very hard to use without some sort of mess up occurring. I would not recommend this app or the device if you wish to save your money and sanity.
