Pop up ads make it a failure

Ads have been an issue for some time and I've slowly used this app less and less. Today I had to delete it - tried to read one article and the ads were relentless - blocking text, redirecting, freezing the screen. Most likely won't add it back again but I hope it gets fixed for other users.
Ads have just become too much

I used to love this app but now the ads cover the entire page and you can't X out of most of them. Abuse of the advertisement for free app system. And the ads never stop! Charge for the app or at least have an option to purchase for ad free viewing. For now I would not recommend downloading it. It's a waste of time until they make a serious change.

The ads cover the whole article! You can't click off the ad easily. I get the purpose of the ads, but to the point that I can't even use the app? It's absolutely ridiculous. I highly suggest you fix your app Fox 8 or you won't have any viewers on it very soon.

The relentless ads causing the news stories to be covered up or not display at all caused me to delete this app. Developer listen to the reviews- ads are obtrusive. I'll use News2 app instead at least I can read the stories. If I could rate negative stars I would.

This app is terrible. The content is ok but you can't access it. It won't scroll and crashes almost every time you use it. I've tried to contact them through email for support to see if there are any fixes but got no reply. I've deleted it and reloaded but it changed nothing. Was my go to app for local new for a long time but too frustrating to bother with anymore.

I love this app it keeps me updated all the time with any news updates, alerts, weather, and more! I love how you can set in the settings to have it alert you with things you would like it to to keep you updated with what's going on out in the world.
