Take your entire Musicnotes sheet music library anywhere. The Musicnotes Sheet Music Player allows you to hear and watch the notation light up on your Musicnotes digital sheet music and guitar tab files. Musicians and vocalists will appreciate custom playback options, including tempo, key and audio mixing, to fit their music practice and performance needs.

Use the Sheet Music Player to practice and sing along with your piano, vocal and instrumental sheet music or guitar tab, mark up and instantly transpose musical scores, organize your sheet music library into set lists and more. We’ll even help you get started with seven free sheet music selections.

And with the latest version of the app, you are no longer limited to only your Musicnotes sheet music! Use our new free PDF importing option to import PDFs of your own sheet music arrangements. (Note: PDF support is limited to display, markup and folders/set lists. Even though it would be cool, we do not magically make them into fully interactive Musicnotes files).

Just what I need

I love this app. I can get the music in the exact key that I can perform best.

Good app, predatory pricing

The app and service provided are fine, but the prices listed on the app are consistently higher than the prices I see for the same scores when using the website.

Not well designed
Lilpeach29

I was looking for an app where i could collect all different types of piano sheet music based on what I was interested in. I’m a beginner and it looked like music notes would help me find the right music. Wrong! Why is there literally no way to search other than by title. How about “instrument” “ability level” “keyword” “genre” - anything? Nope. If you already know the song you want, you can type in its name, and then get a list of results. From that you can filter by a few things, but why can’t you start without a title?? Also, five dollars per song, even when they’re super old or not popular songs, is kind of crazy.

Prefer the website

The website is far easier to manage and move around

App difficulty
Fast and effective

I love Musicnotes the service! I’m a singer who doesn’t play piano and having this has been a huge advantage for me. That said, the Musicnotes app always increases my blood pressure to dangerous levels. I prefer the iPad app because that’s what I use to play music in my car (where much of my practice is done) - plus I can select sections of the music to play and hit repeat - but it just won’t work. Anything else I play works fine, but the app will only play a few seconds before automatically pausing. The phone (Android) and pc apps are alright, but neither offers the option to play selections or repeat, plus if I’m using it on my pc I have to shut down every other program or it overheats. So I love the service, but it’s really frustrating that the only app version that offers what I need doesn’t work, and the other two work but don’t offer what I need. I’m still using it because it’s the only service of its kind I can find (and it does that service very well), but if anybody else offered the same with an app that worked well, I’d be hard pressed not to switch over.

Awesome but expensive
Ckrabon

Price of sheet music has gone up a great deal. I remember $3.99 and $4.99 prices. $7.99 per song is a big jump. I love the app, but pretty expensive per song.

Waste of money

Best and easiest sheet music app!!

Ok. Well, the Music Notes App is very good. I like how user friendly it is. Very easy to use. Your library is right there and the features are nice. If you purchase sheet music from Musicnotes.com, then it makes sense to have the app!

Update
DisneS

After writing a negative review of the MusicNotes app, I found my purchased music in my library and successfully printed it.
