*UPDATE* *How unfortunate. I see that I wrote a shining review years ago when I had my iPhone 5s. My 6s presented problems that I thought my Xs would fix. Not true. I have tried contacting this company over the years in every way possible even sending messages to their partner companies in hopes to inspire some communication. I am giving my paid version up as a lost cause. RIP MusicIO. Original- - This app IS the way the wind is blowing. Other leading VSTi app assemblers require other cables and connectors and offer no other possibilities. The connection to OS X is simple and inserting into my DAW is very easy and follows standard procedures. I can actually put different VSTi's into different channels and control each with outboard controllers. If I want to leave the peripherals at home it works independently and still sends audio through the phones jack. Having said all that, I only gave 4 stars because the user layout could use some evolution. There are just a couple simple things to change. There are also some crashes that happen. Through rebooting (sometimes a few times) it will repair itself. Order that apps are launched is important. I very much believe in this company and its evolution.

Have no idea what this is or how to use it. Must have gotten it for free. Please add some beginning instructions on how to use this app.
Works great, no issues.

Tested with a 2015 iMac and 2013 MBP Retina, iPad Pro 10.5. Flawless so far. More people should give this app a shot, and hopefully the dev is still working to improve their project!
