First what I felt when I buy moza mini mi is disappointment because of shaking and wrong calibration. I don’t have property default calibration on iphone X and custom calibration doesn’t work... Fix it, please!

Motion tracking MIA?

On iOS, the motion tracking function doesn’t seem to exist. All the manuals and tutorials claim you can click the settings and get a motion tracking option, but that doesn’t happen... it just brings up the standard camera menu... which doesn’t include motion tracking. Was this function removed from the app? Update: Not removed, just changed and poorly documented.

I was very hyped to buy this after watching lots of YouTube videos I know that the app was poorly made before I even bought it but man it’s horrible and my gimbal won’t stop spinning I can’t even re-calibrate it because the app is broken. I’m just gonna have to send it back to try the DJI osmo 2?

Some malfunctions

When the gimbal motor is on the right, the tracking feature doesn’t work. Also, after opening slo-mo and starting record the app shuts down. Disappointed that a great gimbal has a poorly developed app.

All it does is crash

I have an iPhone XS and this app would be great if it didn’t constantly crash. I’ll probably return the gimbal given the app can’t stay up.

The app crashes from time to time but my biggest issue is that I can seems to enter or select the Slow Motion mode, please help !!!

If I don’t want the videos saved directly to my camera what can I do? The moza app allowed me to get a different angle when I just saved it to the moza genie app — and not my camera roll.

Motion Tracking is Wonky

The motion tracking is spotty, though it does work at times. I find that in comparison to the DJI Osmo Mobile 2, the motion tracking is maybe 3/5 where I’d say the DJI is maybe 4/5, so not much worse, but not that great either. Everything else works alright as far as I can tell. I prefer to use the stock camera app in my iPhone XS almost exclusively anyways.

Updated to the latest build 12.4 and now my mini mi gimbal will not connect to the MOZA Genie app. Genie app just shows a bunch of unnamed connections that won’t connect. If your going to do an update make sure it works! Buyer beware do not download or update if you’re using an older build.
