Not only is this app one of the most complete and easy to use applications for storing your movie library but my experience with customer service was a FIVE STAR top notch experience. I am a previous user of movie scanner which is no longer supported or available yet I had over 2000 movies in a saved CSV file. Their final did not Readily import into this application. I contacted customer support and they were back with me in less than 24 hours. I sent them my back up files from the previous application and they were able to convert them in a way that I could import it without losing all of my data. While loading movies the way they were intended would produce the best possible results for this app, being much more complete, their assistance getting the total list in to the application is a head start that I did not have hopes for. Thank you so much for the application and your assistance!

Can share catalog using Dropbox, but doesn’t support iCloud yet. TV shows not in the master database so if you have them, be prepared to add them manually. Combo packs of movies also a challenge. Usually have to scan bar code for each film in the collection, assuming a bar code was provided for each.

We use this all the time. It’s great to have a list of our movies when we’re going through the Dollar Bin as it saves us from buying what we already own. Always keep it updated with ratings and when we watched movie last. Could you please add a Rating filter? There are many filters but surprisingly not one for Rating.

Love that I can scan multiple UPC codes one after another. One thing that would be great is if it could let me know if it can’t find UPC code in the moment, like with an X or something. This way I know which one I need to manually enter.

I’ve tried excel, notepad++... This app is perfect. Small learning curve and well worth it. Over 1,500 movies in my collection and it was challenging to keep up with. Now I can see the movies like a shelf view. Much easier to pick one when I go looking for one to watch. My Noir is separated from drama now. Easy to categorize, by genre, a breeze. Even has a search function that brings all the information with a simple search within the app. Scanning most movies i purchase in seconds... done 5 bucks, what a deal and just backed up the whole thing on my iPad to the cloud. Nice!

Love the app so much I bought Pro version as well as their other apps. ???. Kimico's MovieBuddy imports data from a CSV, including Delicious Library. I started with the free version and with Kimico' helpful support team I have a sample of my movie library on my phone. I have used Delicious Library on my Mac for years, but had to export my library to Spreadsheet, CSV, or PDF to take with me on my phone.? The tech support team is responsive and that adds to my happiness. They are willing to listen to suggestions and include them when necessary. (Like making it so I could import my Delicious Library library into MovieBuddy! ???

With 560 movies and 1400 books both of these programs have been a joy to use... easy scanning of bar codes on a book or dvd... nothing could be easier.

I have over 1100 movies in my library currently. I used to have a typed list which was a major pain. It was bulky to carry around which you had to in order to make sure I didn’t purchase movies I already owned. With that list, I could only view them by title alphabetically which created a new problem every time I had to update it. With this app you can easily add movies with several different methods and it is 99% correct without editing needed. It also allows you to rate it as you add it, or after you’ve watched it. You can view your movies by several different categories such as rating, actor, genre, etc. instead of just by title alphabetically. One last point, it updates to the cloud periodically or manually so even if you lose or change your device, you can recover your list from the cloud. This app has made my life SO much easier!

While upgrading to Pro I lost my entire library. Categorizing of series could be better. For example on the main screen you see the series name. Tape on that you get a complete list of all shows in the series. That on the episode number and you get all of the normal details. This will keep the app and your library cleaner and more organized. Example Series: Designated Survivor Season 1 Episode 1 - Pilot Episode 2 - The First Day Season 2 Episode 1 - One Year In Series: Star Wars Star Wars - A New Hope Thank you for your reply. Yes you can see the individual episodes once you click on the series but what is missing is the ability to pull up the details of the individual episode once you click on the series.
