As others have said... This app was good. Then some time passed. And for no apparent reason, now it's horrible. Either that or everywhere I've went has been a weird dream and I haven't actually taken a step in months. Sad to see this app like this, as it was the best pedometer back in the day.

I loved this app for a couple of years and then all it did was crash... From multiple reviews I see that this is now what it does and the developer does not care, too bad...

Disappointed

Dr. Leo S.

I enjoyed Moves in the beginning and then it began to report inconsistently. Walking reported as transport and cycling as walking or transport. Every day I needed to take an extra step and correct the info. Now it has begun to sporadically turn itself off for no apparent reason. I am about ready to abandon this App.

Could be a decent app

The app is relatively easy to use. The part that annoys me is every few days I have to delete and reinstall the app because it stops logging my steps. This causes data to be lost usually for the previous day. I know something is wrong when I’m watching the app while walking and at an update the number of steps goes down to a previous amount. It will continue to be stuck at this amount unless I completely delete the app and reinstall. And as I said, this causes me to lose data. It is extra frustrating because the app is linked to my health insurance rewards program, so I loose all my steps on there too. I originally chose this app because it was free and linked with my health insurance program. Unfortunately you get what you pay for, so I am researching other alternatives. If you are looking for a basic, what have a done for movement today it’s an okay app. If you have any need to rely on the data to be accurate, best look elsewhere.

Used to be great

I’ve had this app since 2013 and it had a few bugs or inaccuracies but it still gave me a good idea of how much I was moving or not. Now it crashes a lot when I open it and I end up deleting and reinstalling it. Luckily it still has my old data. But what is more annoying is now how it drops entire parts of my day (sometimes even after it showed up, then it disappears). It’s really annoying since I can’t really get a sense of how much Biking I did. I wish they’d fix this since this used to be a great app. Now it’s not that reliable.

Just doesn’t work anymore

abeliangrapes

The app stops tracking for long periods of time for no apparent reason. Yes I’ve allowed background refresh, gps access, everything in the “suggestions” but still every day there are large chunks of time missing. Worked ok until recent iOS update, so maybe that’s to blame but it’s just completely unusable. Please update and fix these bugs!

Crashes every time

Jellyfin

Garbage app. No support and instant crashes as soon as I run it. It worked fine ages ago but no support from devs for a year or so.

No Watch Integration!

This is a great app!! I love everything about the concept but why does it not have the capability of syncing with Apple HealthKit or Apple Watch?? Since the birth of the cellular Apple Watch, people leave their phones at home while moving. Please update to stay relevant!!

You Moves you Lose

Was a great app until a couple of months ago. Used to have some cool features and you could see your months totals. Don’t know if it was because of a system upgrade that it couldn’t work with but it crashes on opening and doesn’t track your steps, seems obsolete.

Meh. Doesn’t load.

This app works for one day & then thereafter it will not even open. When you tap the icon it acts like it’ll pop up and immediately closes. I have to remove and re-download every day to use it. Please fix!!
