This one is a lot more repetitive with the puzzles, as most really only involve moving from one place to another to be able to move platforms to advance, nothing like the difficulty in the first game. And this ones pretty short tooz

I’m a big fan of the first puzzles. This edition moves too slowly by increasing the “artsie-ness” of each level. I come to the app to play...not sit around and wait for floating artwork to materialize and de-materialize.

This app constantly crashes. Have to do a hard reset then it will open for a while then crash again and continue to crash until hard reset again.
Lucky matter
I am using an iPhone 7 and it is hot or miss if monument valley 2 will open. It usually just crashes when I open it. For a game that is two years old and an older phone this is really unacceptable. Especially when it is a pay app.

I wasted 5 buck on a game that doesn’t work it dormant even want to pull up and crashes everytime I can’t even play the game, I tried deleting and reinstalling I updated my phone reset phone setting and network setting but this app just won’t load up it crashes on me I wish I could get my money back

This sequel is unfortunately disappointing compared to the brilliance of the original. There is more text but less plot. The game is longer but the puzzles are easier. There is less music and sound effects. The colors often swing between garish and non-existant. There are still one or two beautiful, challenging chapters (hence three stars), but overall this game is uninspiring. I suggest (re)playing the original instead.

There was no way they could improve on perfection. MV2 didn’t need to really exist. The good is the graphics and music score. Absolutely beautiful game. The bad is the gameplay. If you beat the original Monument Valley, MV2 is not even close to being a challenge. You breeze through it so fast you can’t even really sit back and enjoy the wonderful visuals. I give it 3 stars because it’s a brilliant concept but truly it’s not even worth paying $5 for. You will be disappointed how quickly you fly through the game....
