Look, match, and learn.

Problem solving is a hugely important developmental skill for any child. With the Montessori Things That Go Together app, we bring you six interactive workbooks and games to help your child develop their analytical and critical thinking skills.

Activity 1: Match the related items. Ask your child or student to draw a line to connect the related items.

Activity 2: Which item is most closely related to the picture on the left?

Activity 3: Which items go together? Identify the related items and discuss why the third item is not related.

Activity 4: Can you match all of the related items? In this activity there are three pairs that need to be matched on every level.

Activity 5: Which item does not belong? Can you identify the relationship between the items and find out why one does not belong?

Activity 6: Same as activity 5 but with harder examples to help your little one further develop their mental reasoning skills.

Our "Things That Go Together" app was created using hundreds of gorgeous illustrations that are sure to keep kids interested and engaged. In this application, children will be presented with a variety of different problem solving and matching activities and games. The best way to play this game with a child is to sit down with them and have them explain to you the reason / thinking of why two items should go together. This way, the game can act as a wonderful interactive tool to develop both language and critical thinking skills.

The application also includes great audio reinforcements by congratulating the child each time they successfully solve a problem.

Very educational

This is an amazing app for my daughter and she loves it. She likes the matching aspect where she has 3 pictures and has to choose which 2 go together. It's a very supportive game when she gets it right but also very ensuring when she gets it wrong. I would recommend this to any parent for their young child.

Nice fun game

What a fun app for learning matching items together for kids. It uses very good graphics and friendly animals along with everyday household items. The game has several different levels of difficulty so your child never feels in over their head. Nice game for learning.

The kids love it.

When I give the the iPad to my kids and let them drive, this one that they 'll navigate to. This really helps them play and learn without getting bored. Thanks for having such and awesome app.

Child-friendly content

I like the different ability levels. I found at least one ambiguous answer- for example a mug, cutting board, baseball bat, and table- which one does not belong? A baseball bat is not a kitchen item, while the other three are, but this is not the right answer. (It was the mug, which was not made from wood.) If a child makes an error in this instance, it would be great if the narrator said "Look for something that isn't made from wood" so that there is a learning component to it instead of randomly tapping at other objects on the screen. Still good for assessing where a child is at, with an adult standing by.
