My title would sound fake if I was honest

Simple. I have written only a few reviews, and I don't do so lightly. As a disclaimer, the developer has communicated with me to inform me of updates for the new iOS9 update. However, that does not bias my review but should inform the consumer the dedication invested for updating and creating his app. Most importantly, it simplifies identifying stocks that are trending in price (from sectors you can select also including updates pushed to your phone for select stocks.) I am new to day trading, and you can use your software from your broker to set alerts for price changes, but it becomes cumbersome to create alerts that also indicate the volume of the stock's indicated change as a way to judge movement. For me it was simple. I remember a stock passing by and it was obviously hot and I opened it up with my software, quickly noticed a key indicator of performance for this sector, and purchased at that moment. I was in early, and the payout was more than this software will cost me for a lifetime (if I want to consider additional gains on this same stock and attribute it to the software that brought it to my attention.) Will it make you first at the gate every time? Is it always best to be first to follow a trend? No, but I would like to know as it occurs so I can decide for myself. I am happy to start using it on the new iOS and set my alerts for a few stocks I want updates on before trading hours. This includes mentions in social media, price changes and following the Twitter account will also help with a few of the key updates. Can you do it yourself? With hours of coding into your trade station alert system or a cloud computing data analytics of your own or just try the software. It is 6:00 AM, and I have it on while I work on other computer tasks. It doesn't replace your charting & trading software, but unobtrusively eases and works along side them.
5 stars! MOMO is unlike any other stock app

Every time I start MOMO up I feel like I have an unfair advantage for finding trades. Some of the other reviews stole a bit of my thunder but, here is my take…. MOMO provides a raw unfettered view of price breakouts across the entire market which is not provided by anyone else (I looked - including the broker apps like Etrade and Schwab). I like stock charts and studies as much as any trader, but I don’t need them in another app. The point of MOMO is to highlight any and all break outs so you can then make a trade decision. As a trader and swing investor I care about stocks on the move and finding the best entry and exits prices and being alerted to them as fast as possible to make $$$$. MOMO gives me this. It’s worth mentioning, like many of my stock apps MOMO stopped working with iOS 9, it’s great to see this new release supports it as I was limited to using on just my iPad for a couple weeks. There are also real-time stock alerts that come in directly into the iphone notifications. This is pretty cool and does it also in after hours trading.

I downloaded this app at 8pm, read the "help" menu, then got the, your daily trial has ended. WTH! First of all, 1 day is not enough of a trial, second, at least let me have the trail during regular market hours! Terrible!!

I'm not typically an app reviewer, but I was reading the reviews and in defense of the app, MOMO has a daily trial that lets you use it every day for as long as you want for up to 5min a day. If you think about it, this could be much more valuable than a 5 day trial to get familiar with an app depending on how active you are in the market. It's also possible the data feed is costly and they can't provide offer otherwise. I know from experience this data can cost thousands a month usually. I use MOMO almost ever day and think it does an amazing job of showing stock momentum while letting you track your stocks. It's impossible to please everyone all the time, but I think MOMO has struck a fair balance. (Update confirmed working with ios9)

So, I downloaded Momo, entered my stock symbols, then, got a notice that my free trial had ended. That wasn't a trial. That was deceptive. Shame on Momo for that. Momo. Nogo.
Can't use without paying

Meh. Can't use it without paying $11/mo. 4min trial. The countdown starts as soon as you open the app. Regardless of what time of day you open the app. Market closed when I tried.
Straightforward breakout and stock alert app

Easy to use. New breakouts to highs are green, new lows are red. The bars at the top also tell you the momentum shift across the S&P 500, Nasdaq and Dow. I didn’t know this until I read the help section. MOMO is really useful for quickly adding and removing new alerts and managing like a watchlist that uses Apple alerts to tell me when one of my stocks is moving. I really like the app and use it almost every day on both my iPhone and iPad. Fast and easy, love it! I’d also add that its really shameful for others to post 1 star reviews just because they want something for free. Years ago we used to have chat rooms filled with people all trying to find break outs and MOMO does it better in an app! This tech is not cheap people!

If you are serious about the stock market MOMO is worth having. Even if you only use it for the alerts, which work regardless of whether you subscribed or not. It's great.
