If this is an app for visitors, then MOMA has forgotten about the hometown folk who use the museum on a daily basis. I certainly relied on the former app for the film schedule, easy access to the exhibits, and so on, instead of going to the website. Bad move.

I wanted to use the app to research items in the collection - and found that the app had been changed to an audio guide. I see no excuse for simply trashing all the other website features. Please make this friendly for people planning their visits to the museum again.

Dear MoMA: Uh, why did you disembowel your app? One was able to buy tickets, see upcoming film schedules, and much more. What is this changeling you've put in its place, that just sits there, without any explanation? Whoever you paid to update it should be fired. Your desperate efforts to remain "modern", "new", "current", etc look like flop sweat. Please return your app to its former glory. You're welcome!

This is the stupidest change of a once perfect app. Someone destroyed a beautiful thing. Only last week I was delightedly showing an out of tower about the beauty of the moma app for its info on art and FILM and how amazing it was and now it is dead. RIP old moma app. I will not be using new one.

I enjoyed the simple navigation and clean design of the app, made my visit much more seamless. Missing functionality is easy to find in the site, which I think is the right way to go.

why did you gut the app
The functionality has been gutted. I used this daily to check the film guide. It's useless now.
Where are the film schedules?

The MAIN thing I used the Moma app for was for easy access to the film schedules. It was bad enough that they omitted the descriptions of films from the member newsletter. The new app is completely useless to me.
I'm so confused...

What is the purpose of this app?? It's completely useless. I can't plan my visit, purchase tix, see exhibit or event schedules, nor can I use it as a map to navigate the museum. Deleted.
