Model 15

This app is pretty cool and i love the sounds that come with it. Im currently using it in GarageBand on my iPhone xr but everytime i try to record something the audio starts to glitch out and the sound stops working. I honestly feel like i wasted my money, wish it actually worked when trying to record.

Working again, thx for the fast updates

Great synth, I would say it’s a must have for IPad musicians who produce or use synths.

SOUND DESIGN

Great app! but one thing how can I drop the files from the phone in a formal way. To create the soundpack???

Awesome app for portable thick low, rich high sounds - @Laotzsa

Truelly wonderful app like all they make!

Modular madness,...but I wold like to see rack options and a ring modulation rack along with a drive feedback like on the sub 37 .or a modular tube distortion drive along with it all as a modern modular option format. Maybe a modern delay with LFOs with maybe a cross modulation wheel somewhere would be nice,..and a waveform options like on there bad boy monster mooger fooger delay That would be a wonderful evolution option. Please hire me for beta testing if there is a need. Would love to test out real systems as well and help in any design ideas or programming positions. I absolutely love everything Moog! Please make a delay like that more purchase friendly maybe a small footprint design or a Bluetooth guitar fix line like Zoom made. Might as well harness the full power and potential like you do on the new analog emulations like on this 15 system it’s wonderful what has been going on. They are brilliant although keeping your analog line as well would broaden the spectrum because secretly I think we all would like to have a analog pedal it’s just not as accessible as we want and could use some breaks into the no credit check payment plan options available today. But for now many of us would go for a digital pedal that is Bluetooth and affordable if analog must stay pricey. Here’s a Cheers to Moog! Well done!

Money well spent

It is easy to make awful garbage sounds that only you like when working on a modular. Using this is much cheaper than the hardware alternative, but just as satisfactory, plus you can store patches.

Great Synth and more.

Developers committed. Buy it.

UI doesn’t fit right on 12.9” iPad Pro

cloud700

First this is a great sounding and looking app .. good enough for pro studio work. My only quibble is on my 12.9” first and second generation iPad Pro’s when you scroll the the synth panel up and down it jiggles from side to side a bit, another words if your finger moves at all side ways while you are moving the panel to get to the knobs you need the panel also moves from side to side .. just a minor annoyance to us OCD types.

Lacks multi-touch for knobs...

As amazing as this app is, it falls short in a couple of ways. Firstly, there is no way to freaking turn two knobs at the same time. What the hell, man. The devs say they could not find a way to do this and support multitouch pan/zoom at the same time. How bout a toggle? Well guys, you have a panning area on the right-hand side of the screen already that can be used for panning, and you could easily add a zoom slider as well. I would MUCH rather have the ability to turn multiple knobs at the same time (like in most other synth apps) than have multitouch pan/zoom. You could at least give users the *option* between the two, perhaps with an on-screen “zoom/scroll lock” icon? Get creative! Second of all, there is a sound recorder, but sadly it has a set maximum length. What's up with that? The devs say, “Use IAA” but guys, IAA kinda blows. It makes it hard to exactly time start and stop between loops. It gets in the way of creativity. But OK, you get a pass on this one. There is no way to lock cables in place, so it's kinda easy to unplug them on accident. They say, “Just use undo,” but I already knew about undo. I like good UI, not UI that’s bad and causes you to make mistakes, then expects you to undo them... I dunno. It’s just really annoying on iPhone since the cables are really small and close together, not being able to lock cables in place is a big deal for the frustration level of the app. I mean in real life, XLR cables have a locking mechanism for a reason! There is no way to easily A/B between two patches. This is a concern during performances when you wanna quickly change sounds. Sadly there's no oscilloscope like Animoog. Over all it is very amazing though, and can produce sounds that I never thought I would hear coming out of an iPhone. It makes me wonder anymore why I should waste money on "real" analog synths... I do think Moog is the best company ever, hopefully they make changes and don’t just make excuses.
