Fails Regularly in GarageBand

Love the quality of the sounds I can get out of this app but it regularly fails to load or stops working within GarageBand. Please fix this!

Surprisingly poor interface

Danhedonia

You simply cannot be this ignorant of user experience. Any screen smaller than 12.9 will be useless. And it’s hard to reconcile that this app comes from the same people responsible for the delightful Animoog.

Simply the best.

I plan to write a full review, but it’s amazing. The sounds you discover ?that they are related to scores played in film and TV in the many sound settings. Same arps, same feel, same wow. ? Just started playing. Too many good words to describe it would sound like gibberish with slobber thrown in. My mouth hasn’t stopped talking about it with friends,?? , or figuring out the infinite ways to make a sound, and bend it to your will?Bob did create the Monster of Sound. Unlike any other instrument in the modern age, (here it comes) the Moog formulated version of the synthesizer instrument is the most flexible, most creative due to unlimited unknown sounds within the hundreds of thousands of overlap and waves of electrical signals that ping pong, across multiple LFO’s and VCO’s, from making a complete sound of a dolphin, or the docile nature of the bell tone, it’s Bob Moog’s mind that dwarfs the common instrument creator. Don’t hesitate, buy this one first. “You will never master it, because it’s unattainable to humans, that’s what makes music so.” TM! Yeah, I wrote that.

Has Potential, but...

90% of the time I try to use this, there is a lot of crackle and occasionally lag. I have a brand new iPad Pro 12.9. Still have at least 75% of my memory on the device, but for some reason, it does not operate smoothly.

One of the best

Wesont C Black

Arguably the best soft synth in the iOS library, bought this day 1 and am still using it to this day. One of my favorite apps

Can I please get a refund.

DriedCreature30

This is such an incredible app but it’s just too hard to use for me. I tried to go through all the tutorials and I still couldn’t wrap my head around it. I’m honestly sorry for buying your app and requesting a refund. Again, really cool app that I can use for Garage Band IF I knew what I was doing. If I don’t get a refund it’s perfectly understandable but it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Nice standalone. Doesn’t work well in GarageBand

BAPSF415

Nice toy when played with alone. Though I didn’t purchase to play it stand alone. I wanted to use in GarageBand as advertised. It works however there is a constant static with every note played and various hiccups. It’s not usable in GarageBand. I feel not good wasting $31.

Great but could use a little more helpful info and slight change.

I love this app and use it often, but starting out, I really didn’t understand how to use the modules in the app. The 2 starter tutorials only help with the very basics of how to use the app but don’t really help you learn about modules. I had to do some extra research about the modules to find out what they were and how to use them which is a little annoying but I managed to confidently make a patch within a couple days. On a similar note, I am interested in the in-app purchases but I don’t understand what I am receiving from them, so I hesitate to buy any of them before I know what they will actually give me. Also I don’t really think the swipe from the left thing is useful. I’m using the app on my phone and it sometimes activates when I try to use the keyboard or adjust a knob on the left side of the screen. The button to pull up the keyboard is on the right side already so is it really necessary? Or could this just be prevented by not activating if I’m interacting with a knob or keyboard? Tldr, the app works flawlessly, just needs some extra detail on how to use modules and a minor change to the swipe left.

I'm really happy that the new update on iOS 13 works fine. Hopefully Model D gets a fix soon too. Thank you!!!

Great for experienced users, needs more for beginners

This app is a beautiful recreation of the Model 15, however I feel that there needs to be a more basic version for people who are new to it or don’t feel like having to fiddle around with the cables.
