The Good & the Bad

This review is really about the device, not just the app. I have a slightly older model, the one released before the ibridge 3. The ibridge fills a need for me that has frustrated me since I got my iPhone 6. My music is largely unpublished tracks, I tagged and organized in folders. iTunes doesn't make it feasible to listen to these thousands of tracks. I love that the ibridge allows me to listen by folder instead of laborious playlists. The sound is good and the process is easy. My complaints are: 1. The device drains my battery at ~4 times the rate of Spotify. 2. Of course, I can't charge it while the ibridge is plugged in. 3. The device won't fit with my otter Box defender case. (Other accessories do fit the lightning port with the case) I wanted to listen to my music while hiking, but I'm not going to expose my phone to the great outdoors without decent protection. So, I still use it to listen to my music at work, but can't really make use of it the way I had hoped.

I love this thing. I would have given it 5 stars of it had a charge through option. That is my only negative feedback. I know the new ones have that option but I'm too cheap to replace the one I have. Despite that annoyance, this thing is great!

Love the interface and ability to offload pics and documents to the Leef and move them between my iOS devices.... however (and I see you note an update is coming soon....) since iOS 11 we are dead in the water.... how soon is soon for the iOS 11 update???? Thanks! Leef on!
Hardware concept is good but....

... the software is clunky, and updates from developer very slow. Unusable on iOS11 despite developer having a couple of months to make work. There are now a variety of better alternatives on the market ... read magazine reviews and choose a better HW/SW solution
