The app does help you get through faster but only if you can figure out the special lines to use afterward. Also, the post luggage check people didn’t seem to know which line I should use at LAX. Working on educating people before they get in line and direct them to the special line for the app

Made customs process slower.

I’m not sure if it was because the airport I landed at, but using this app delayed the process. There was only one person checking people in that were using the app and only one person once we got our luggage. If we used the kiosks or just the good ole way we would have out the door 30 minutes earlier.

Great in Theory but Ground Operations needs help

Just “attempted” to use this at Chicago O’Hare. First there is no signage pointing and saying “Mobil users here.” After taking the time to complete the form on the app and get a ticket assigned I had to ask one of the assistants where to go and was told that the “customs guy” that does mobile was gone and I needed to just go through the normal process. That was frustrating. Then when you exit the International terminal there is signage that says Mobile Pass here and when I went there and tried to scan my mobile pass I didn’t have a card they hand you (presumably because the “guy that does mobile” wasn’t there) and had to go all the way to the other side. So what was supposed to be a breeze became incredibly difficult. The app itself is okay but the customs operations on site clearly haven’t been given great direction on passengers using this and are ill equipped to help passengers.


Makes for a very quick trip through immigration
