Emergency assistance
MiWay’s assistance suite is extremely useful, especially in cases of emergency. The MiWay App enables you to request roadside, medical or home assistance with the tap of a button. You can also use the Accident Scene Log feature to add all information needed when you are in an accident. From storing witness and third party details, taking photos of the scene and damage, to gathering licence information and SAPS details, you can gather all information that will speed up your claim.

If MiWay allows non-residents to get policies with them how come you dont provide a facility for non-residebnts to use this app? Why does someone who pays the same amount get second rate service? To top it off you push emails and text messages telling me to download the app! ? Please fix this!
Terribly designed app and claims system.

This app is meant to make submitting a claim easy. It does the opposite. Took hours to log in. Only primary members can claim. They don’t tell you this before you register a new account. If you need a new password the OTP system is wrought with errors and “try again later” reports. When submitting a claim: the map system or gps pin does not allow you to drop a pin, which means accident location has to be on google maps. Progress for submitting claims is not saved. When you click “back” for example all painfully submitted info is lost, you have to start again. Claim process is full of highly irrelevant questions, such as “details and dates of claims for the last 3 years.” Imagine being on the side of the road trying to answer that one. As if they don’t have all your claims on record too. Oh yeh, remember, can’t leave it blank otherwise sometimes you can’t progress to next info. If you do progress you and want to go back you have to start again. The app hasn’t changed in years. I submitted a claim 2 years ago, with the same issues. For a company that makes their mission about making your life easy, this shows a total lack of effort, and willingness to make changes to accommodate the consumer. Infuriating. Update your app.
