Mitosynth takes a simple approach: With a tap, almost any dial can be switched out for a graph with automation controls, including LFOs, 5-stage DADSR envelopes, ingenious noise generator, step sequencer, BPM sync — and MIDI, of course. Plus XY pads for the hands-on approach.
And you can combine them. Use one automation to control which (or how much) of two others affect a setting. Many of the automation controls are themselves automatable. You can repeat this, going to deeper levels. LFOception!
The flexible FX chain means no messing with complicated routing tables, or stringing cables around until your screen looks like a plate of pasta: Slot the distortion, filter, delay and other effects you want, in the order you want. Simple!

Sadly, now it’s just a toy since all the “new” apps like NanoStudio 2 use AU. AU is right there in the app like a vsti. I’m only purchasing apps that have this feature going forward. Unfortunately, this app is legacy. I’ll never use it anymore outside of boredom. Hopefully they will implement AU, but I doubt it. They could, Synth One is saying it’s in the works for their app. We’ll see I guess.

Stands shoulder to shoulder, ( maybe even tiptoeing above? apps like Nave , Animoog, Imini ISem. Definatly a professional synth with amazing sound sculpting opportunities! No matter what Price, buy it! It is a must have synth.
Groundbreaking and State of The Art

Wooji Juice has just created the most beautifully designed and intuitive synth for iOS. A lot of thought has clearly gone into the multitouch controls too. The knobs are very easy to use and offer very course and fine grain control all in one gesture. Apparently, the developers see the iPad as more than just a simulator of old synths. They've gone and completely shifted the paradigm. No more complex routing, just clearly labeled contextual menus that keep you informed about every step of the sound creation process. And the sound? Absolutely top notch. My only complaint is that they could have added even more tweakable parameters and still kept it simple because the UI is just that good. Still, an incredibly powerful synth with ridiculous amounts of modulation control. Definitely more 'addictive' than many other synths I own. ;)

Oh wow! This synth is just beautiful in every category from the gorgeous interface to the complex, evolving, ethereal sounds it produces. The soundscapes it is capable of remind me of Omnisphere, only with a better interface. I read a review online that mentioned the sounds being reminiscent of the Cocteau Twins and I agree with that. I have only played with it for a short while but am completely blown away, prompting this review. 5 stars seems an insult.

This is the next must have synth on iOS! Very nice depth to the sounds and they don't remind you of the standard synth fare. Crisp pulsating pads and glass sounds, growling basses and piercing leads! Get it!

Mitosynth is simply STUNNING. Beautiful, fluid interface, powerful editing parameters, jaw dropping sound, extremely stable operation on my ipad mini, highly useful presets. I cannot recommend this app enough! Very well done, developers!!!
