Had fun.

I love the series, I wish it was more readily available in the states. So when I happened upon this game, of course I had to play it. The deductions were a bit tedious in how they made you perform them, but that's honestly my only issue with the game. My only other issue is that there is not another episode available.

Whodunnit

This game was so much fun and worth every penny! I really enjoyed playing it. I loved everything about it. There were so many twists and turns. I cannot wait for episode 2!

Fun while I wait for the show to start

I enjoyed this game. It gave me a taste of the show. The clues were creative too. I was sad that episode 2 is not available yet. It was a cliff hanger at the end. I do wish that once I finished I could go back and find the missing dress.

Perfect for Phryne fans!

I love the Miss Fisher series, and this game fits in perfectly with the television show. If you're looking for a mystery game with a lot of work, this isn't it. It's more like an interactive novel version of an episode of Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries. I can't wait for episode 2 of this game! <3

Love Miss Fisher!

The game is not a hidden object or anything like that. There is a ton of reading, deductions, and my suggestion is to search every little thing for clues (or accessories). The conversations are easy to navigate through and the clue match-up toward the end was a bit tricky. I'm an avid BFG HOB player so the skill level for this was easy and at times boring (I would have enjoyed just reading it without all the tapping to progress the conversation). My five star rating comes from being a fan of the books and tv show. The characters are amazing! The mystery is spot on for the series. There is a cliffhanger, FYI, so if you are a compulsive shopper (like me) be prepared to end one game and then purchase another (it's not out yet so I'm good for now).

Captures the voice of the show perfectly

Bug report

Hi, I just wanted to report a bug, and could not find any other way to report. I have been unable to leave the dressing room.so for support 0/5 stars Otherwise I really enjoy the game, it's been a fun way to explore Ms. Fisher's world. For game play 4/5 stars

Love, love, love!

If you like mystery games that aren't hidden object or pay to play, this is your dream come true. You don't have to watch the show to get it, though it helps since the game doesn't give much backstory on the characters. I actually discovered the show through the game. I'm fed up to the back teeth with mobile mystery games. Even the "adventure" category is full of the same formula regurgitated with different characters - even big name franchises are just the same game over again! The odd innovative, non-formulaic game lacks the casual element. Not so with Miss Fisher. With a Phryne-like disregard for what everyone else is doing, this game allows you to explore, discuss, and deduce. You visit different locations to look for clues in a point-and-click style, and you discover new ones throughout the game. The suspects and other characters (including ones not part of the show) are fleshed out, and sometimes you need to put clues together to form a new conclusion to move forward in the story. A second episode is set up and I can't wait! A continuation just like this one would be more than worth it, but if I could make a few suggestions to improve, I might recommend a task list and a little more detail to the exploration. Sometimes it's hard to remember what you were supposed to do if you put the game down for a while, and it would be cool if you had to look under something for a clue or go through a trash bin - actually go through it, not just click on it and have Phryne say she went through it. However, I will happily play Episode 2 if nothing changes other than the story advancing!

Ready for part 2!

Love this game- ready to start the second chapter!

Fun but not for $2.99

Completed this game in just a little over an hour. There are free games that have massively longer play times. The concept and stylisation are AMAZING, the execution could be better. For instance, when you're examining a room, after each item you look at, it takes you back to the main options menu. It would make much smoother game play if you could just be in "examination mode" until you 'x' out of it. The dialogue was definitely in line with the shows and books. All in all, it was like paying $3 for one chapter of a book, ending on a cliff hanger with no continuation in sight. Please continue this, and maybe give a discount or give it free to those who already have the first downloaded.
