Please add Apple Watch support. Also hasn't had any updates in months now...

Got 4 of these just before Misfit sold itself to Fossil. Since then, NO upgrades or fixes for the numerous bugs. The app ALWAYS loses its connection to the bulbs & takes forever to reconnect. Even when I've been sitting right next one. And often one or the other just won't respond until I power it off & back on. Wake up feature is nice, when it works. But too unreliable to actually use regularly. Worst of all, they're LED so they'll last a long time. Terrible wast of resources & money.

Waited a long time and a whole number of fixes before writing this review. First let me say where the ideas are all good the actual implementation has been terrible. The app is clunky crashes a lot still, and still doesn't give you a lot of the functionality that you'd be hoping for in a home lighting system. The bulbs themselves have the added bonus of constantly losing themselves into the lonely Bob category, and functioning erratically often enough to be annoying on a day-to-day basis. I actually only 10 of these Bob's six of which I kept in the living room and tried it with the rainbow app, The rainbow app manages to keep for the Bob's all the same color all at the same time and Randa mode completely defeating the purpose of the rainbow function. Aside from this the colors are bright and vibrant but there's nothing that makes this product any better on any level over any of its competitors nor is the app anywhere near complete.

Update: the app seems to be updating less frequently these days, which is disappointing because the management of the bulbs via Bluetooth still needs a lot of work. It's clunky to use. Please continue improving this app!

I have 4 bolt lights and originally the bolts connected immediately. Now, I have to open the app, refresh, wait, wait some more, finally 3 of the 4 bolts connect. Then, I have to close and quit the app, open the app and then all 4 bolts connect. Not to mention the app asks me to write a review every day! Well, here's is your review. Fix this mess!

This is so buggy I hardly think it's worth getting the bulbs. Also waiting for things like the proximity sensor... And waiting... And waiting. You should probably hold off until they work things out so the bulbs actually go on and off when you want them to.

Need more things to do with the bulb like holiday themes that would make the app so much fun

I guess the pitfall is that the bulbs work over Bluetooth rather than through a wifi hub as most other smart bulb solutions out there. The problem with Bluetooth is that the connection with the bulbs when you open the app is really slow and unreliable so if you want to interact with the bulbs right away most of the times this will fail. It's very frustrating.
