It crashes. Plain and simple. Tap plan a new journey and - BOOM - app goes poof! Back to the home screen on my phone. Useless. Benefits of buying MINI Connected. Hey - pay more for your car - we have these fabulous apps you can use!!! Ripping off car buyers for years.......

After paying $$$ for MINI Connected on my 2013 MINI, it has been abandoned. This app only works with the brand new F56 MINIs. Older models were abandoned - even after they disabled Send to Car. Poor service MINI!

I’d give this app better marks if my mini was supported

Lot’s of neat features, none of which I can use in my 2013 Mini. Come on, BMW, any interest in backporting this stuff to my car? I’m not going to buy a new car just to get these features, so if that is your motivation, that’s a serious mistake. But in the future I just might buy a different brand car if they look like they will continue to roll out new features for their smartphone solution after I have spent a bunch of money on the hardware.

The old version work well enough didn't have a lot of value but every now and again I would use it in my 2015 at f56. Of course I allowed to Apple to update the app as soon as it was available, for that I should be punished, and I was. Now the app does not work at all, it just reports an error and nothing else happens. MINI connected XL in my car doesn't even see it any longer. Lesson learned.

Get errors only in brand new 2015 F56 JCW with XL connect. Initial impression is .......crap

The MINI Connected app and MINI Journey Mate xl app worked without error messages until the Dec 4, 2015 update of the MINI Journey Mate xl. Suddenly 'NAV' unavailable error when starting trips and a errors saying the Journey Mate XL needs the 'BMW Connected ready' app running in the background. What in the world! Seems redundant to the MINI Connected XL already running. I installed it on my iPhone 6s + hoping it was going to make a difference. Nope! It does have 1 or 2 apps additional listed. It takes 3-15 minutes to get a NAV running after soon of these errors occur. Also, while Journey Mate XL app can send a trip to my MINI I can not run it or even find in sometimes. I end manually entering the trip or trying to get the trip addressing from my Contact (on board). This is times loss enough but next 'NAV is unavailable' blows me away. These more and I have sent feedback to the team with a more detailed description of the problems. the Dec 4th up to Journey Mate and Dec 16th update to MINI Connected XL have created a monster in my car that makes me late to appointments, idle far too long in the cold because I must have heat in the winter cold and I've gotten lost because I couldn't get my NAV to get available. Other functions in the MINI Connected of the iDrive seem to be running fine. Reading the reviews for the BMW Connection ready and BMW Journey Mate XL was enlightening. It's not me alone and some of this is not new. Please fix this. 'great ideas need great attention'.
