This is minesweeper just like it used to be on my old PCs. Plus, there are extra backgrounds (I particularly like the one with clouds). I This is the same minesweeper you know and love from when your PC came with the game included 25 years ago. Can’t beat a classic.also really like the quick flagging feature; it makes up for the lack of right- vs left-clicking.

Advertising problem

I’ve had this app for years and loved it, but lately there’s casino advertising that pops up at the start of the game and it won’t close -it ignores the tapping on the ‘x’, or doesn’t even offer an x to close it. You have to close out the game and reopen to get it off the screen. It’s an unpleasant hassle.

I’ve been playing this game for about 6 years. I just saw an NRA ad on the game. I’d rather just get a new version of the game from another company. I will never support the NRA or their murderous agenda. I’m disappointed this game company is in bed with that organization and will find a new minesweeper game.

You can no longer pinch to zoom in or out. It sits in the zoomed in version so you cannot see the whole game on screen. Very annoying, so not playing anymore.

Quick flag mode is easy to use. Don’t like the ads, but hey, it’s free.
Barely functional.

App is barely functional. Settings are arbitrary and hardly work. Changing the sensitivity & other settings barely makes any difference in play, touch screen sensitivity is slow regardless of my settings. I know this is the app and not my phone because other apps are more receptive than this one with equal movement & speed. There are times where the grid will not even register that I am touching it after ten seconds (solution: close the app and reopen it for another 10 seconds of gameplay). Ridiculous! If my scores weren’t saved on this app I would be shifting to a new app immediately.
