I decided to rate this because the pop up to rate this app had a nice smiley face on it. It was very nice and wholesome.

I have played literally 4 times since installing the app 10 minutes ago. Now they want me to rate it. I’m giving it a 2 simply because I don’t think there has been enough time for a proper review. The reason I’m not giving a 1 is because I have played the game before and quite liked it. I think this is a great game for those occasions when I want to relax a bit but not shut my brain completely off. I find the game interesting and beneficial for developing simple logic and reasoning skills. I would recommend it as a standard app for your device.

Great game—almost exactly like the old game that was loaded on the old windows machines. Do they still do that? There are several different backgrounds to choose from (even in the free version). Only minor difference I’ve noticed is that when you touch a number that doesn’t have the correct number of bombs flagged, it doesn’t show which ones are options. Like I said, very minor difference, and one that really doesn’t affect gameplay. Great job!
Could be much more fun
Just switched over to Spica minesweeper recently. Games works well, but was bit small for my big thumbs. Just received the latest update with iPhone X support. Big improvement. Enough for me to upgrade the app. Thanks.

This is a faithful implementation of the classic Microsoft game, but the nagging to leave a review (which did work in the end) is annoying and so are the full screen pop up ads, especially when in the middle of a game and you turn the screen off for a bit then turn it back on. I’d pay a buck for an ad-free version.

I used to love this game on windows PC’s as a kid. My number one complaint with this app is the so, so frequent times you HAVE to completely guess. The layout will work in multiple ways, so you’re forced to just pick one. That’s even on the advanced, or whatever is below the hardest difficulty. I gave up attempting the hardest on this app due to getting so far along and forced to pick with no concrete evidence. I can’t recall ever running into on the mid difficulty and very rare on the expert with pc. May want to tweak your algorithms a bit.

I’ve playing Minesweeper probably since around the mid 90s. Sometimes I find it difficult to put it down until I can’t see straight due to being so tired that I can’t see straight. Thanks for a GREAT time.
