I think mimo is a great program to assist in my learning of SQL and Python. While it is a great learning app, I think using mimo alone with no additional practice on the computer would be insufficient to fully learn and solidify these skills. I am learning SQL through an online course and using mimo as a reinforcer.

I used this app on android and on iPhone it’s super easy to learn with it and kept all of my info with almost a year of inactivity.

There are a lot of things wrong with this app. First of all, in the beginning when they ask you how much you know, that doesn’t actually mean anything and you always end up starting with basics. This is super unfair and boring to people who already know. At least make a testing system for people to jump ahead. BUG REPORT: Due to this, I have found myself only using the playgrounds. I have actually come across a bug with while True statements in python, and this actually lags the app and force quits. You will then be required to log back in, then when you eventually do the app completely stops working. Playgrounds don’t have anything, the output is always blank. Please respond and fix the bug soon.

Coming from another programming language, I feel like I just went from college back to elementary school. I’m sure this is great for most people but I’m impatient and want to get to the nitty gritty. This is more like a quizzing app rather than a learning app from my perspective. Just not my learning style I guess.

This app is good an I’ve never coded before and this compared to other apps helped me learn a lot! Although it helped me learn a few things in coding it doesn’t have many types of coding to learn. I was looking forward to learning Lua to create games but I realized there weren’t to many options to choose from for the types of coding you want to do.
