All very straightforward test. Gives results, but then a bit more probing the app indicates most of the data is unreliable! I explicitly followed directions. Maybe Mimi could explain to the users what this all means. Thank you.

I seem to have tinnitus at the D note. At a point in the test I heard a static sound in the other ear during the test. If I didn’t press the button it said I didn’t respond for 10 seconds and if I needed help or didn’t hear anything. So I did the test with pressing if the static sound came on. I’m wondering if I should not press since that’s probably a tinnitus feedback?

I haven’t had a hearing test by an audiologist to compare the results but the results match my subjective experiences about my hearing. The only issue is the app will present your hearing as “normal” even if you have loss for some frequencies as long as your overall average is ‘normal’. While it’s better to be cautious, average across all frequencies doesn’t present the data well. It would be better to summarize by frequency and encourage people to get their hearing professionally tested if there is indication of possible loss.

Repeat attempts to use this app have been fruitless. Login fails, reset fails and getting a response from developers fails. Deleting the app.

I have mild loss in one ear and moderate in the other. I’ve been tracking for a couple decades via audiologists. Results from the app as graphed are accurate enough. However, it says my hearing is normal with no loss. That is a faulty conclusion of the app.

Needs more calibrated hearing device options in order to take the test. It warns that if your device is not listed in green color when selecting your device your listening to the test with, it can greatly affect the test. Other than that, it was very straight forward and easy to use.

I have headphones plugged in that are working perfectly fine with other apps. For some reason this app says I don’t have headphones plugged in and won’t let me take the test...
