This app pays for my phone data plan and lease

Now I have more time with my clients. I can even see how much time I spend on each project. This is the part that should be automated.

Cool

I need it for both my driving jobs to file taxes, and this app is definitely helping keep track of miles driven. Awesome!

Free version Worked fairy well, the paid version, not so much. Does not log drives consistently. Locations are way off the mark. Unable to detect a drive after location is switched back on. reports include trips not in the date range.Disappointing.

Not worth paying for

The app doesn’t catch all the trips and you get an email that your account hasn’t been used in 60 days. Untrue, the erase everything unless you are willing to pay.

Received email about canceling my account

not trusting

Very confused about this company it has been pretty reliable but today I received a cancellation notice telling me that my account was canceled even though my account is paid till December 2019 and my data was going to be deleted. It is hard to trust a company that is not reliable with there customer messages I quickly created a year to date report in case it were true looking for a more reliable App.

Hello, I don’t generally write reviews, but I think this application deserves one. I am a traveling sales rep and was looking for an easy way to log my trips to put into an expense report each month. After using some other apps I finally decided to try mile Catcher. Since then my expense reports have been easy to generate and my company is happy with its layout and breakdown of each trip. Thank mike catcher, Zach Z

I am self employed and needed some help with this mileage thing since I only have 1 vehicle doing business and personal trips. My buddy told me about this app which I tried since it was free. I loved it so much, after the trial period ending, I just paid for a whole year for a few bucks a month. The tax reports worked like a charm. Thanks MileCatcher.

Love this app

Very helpful app to the business owner. Keeping track of your miles is a breeze, just a simple swipe from left to right and your done.

Two years in. Report from a field rep

I have been using Milecatcher for more than two years as a field sales rep and think it’s an amazing mileage tracker. And at almost half the price of the competition it's a no brainer decision. I never managed to keep a mileage log accurate before I used this app. And the last two years has been a bliss. I have uncovered how automatic this app works and how powerful it is when you have many trips to classify. Worth every cent! Milecatcher tracks all my mileage and I can report it per company and deduct the rest against taxes. No longer any fear IRS will come and challenge my accuracy. I love how this app makes it so easy to tap and classify and do all the math. Even better it’s the easiest to review already classified trips and go back and make edits in-app. Plus it’s the only app that provides the actual route driven. Zoom out and you can instantly see the location driven which result in less mistakes. Times saved! That feature alone makes this the better app for me. But Milecatcher also provides full start and end address of each trip! Not just city references. Much better documentation if you ask me. The bigger unspoken issue disregard which app you use, is you will still forget to classify trips! And then have to go back and remember what trip was business and for what purpose. Of course seeing the actual trip route and not just a city name is a huge help but this is where their web portal shines. Much easier to classify in bulk. Any edits make in the web portal shows up in app. I can also edit address, distance and trip time start faster with a keyboard. And with keyboard short cuts, I can classify a months tripsand add notes in less than 15 minutes. Amazing. Did I mention I started on Android. Now with the newer iPhone SE I fund the battery impact is less and trip accuracy much better. Don't use an old phone for this type of app. And for those who needs automation, Milecatcher has the same auto features as the other apps. But it also allows you to not log trips outside work hours. Means fewer trips to classify. Less time spend classifying. Smart! MileCatcher, when compared to MileIQ, provides actual address and route versus a useless city reference! When compared to Everlance it feels simpler. Milecatcher focus on doing only one thing well – mileage tracking. I use Expensify to manage travel expenses. Compared to both, it's also the cheapest! OK with me. Definitely the most valuable app on my phone.
