So this app says it’s free, but you need a office sub and Docs doesn’t. I’m giving this a 4 though because it has more fonts. But still good.

I have been using MS Word for over 25 years. Each version is an improvement and it partners perfectly with the other MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Visio etc.).
Have to pay now?

For years, I used Word on my iPad to edit documents for school, work, and personal needs. It worked great, and I rarely had problems. Then, suddenly, it requires a subscription. Out of nowhere, I can no longer edit my documents without signing up for a free month trial, and then paying $7 a month after that. I get that you have to pay for Word to use it on a computer, but it’s ridiculous that an app that was free for so long now requires a subscription. I won’t be using Word for any future projects. Opting for Google Drive, which is actually FREE.
Keeps crashing

The app is generally good but today it keeps crashing. The only good thing is that my information is still there. I have been typing the same information for the past hour.

Why do I have to pay for a subscription to save my documents. It seems “Word” is definitely a dud.

I have been using word and there are no problems whatsoever. Please don’t listen to bad comments. It is a great app. I hope my comment is helpful to you.
