Average Features but it could be good… stable but dull app

Krfessl

If you want a really good task manager this is not it... this is an average task manager... it is horribly watered-down, for instance with one level of task break-down, then to details which are steps, not tasks ... a decent task manager would have many more levels of managed task within task... The features for prioritization (minimal, silly) and tagging are non-existent... I could go on and on, but u get the point that this is a 3, at best, that candidly could be much more... The UI is also built to child-like user expectations, rather than for people who want function and detail, from their perspective (how to slice and dice their ability to do task management with filters for information, for instance, not homogenized UI’s with no sophistication… this is a kiddie task app… ONE level of tasks and then useless step structure.

Sadly so little

This app needs a lot of investment and attention from Microsoft. It’s almost barebones laughable how few features and controls you have in the app. So sad, when with more investment it could be highly complementary to the OutLook product.

Wunderlist was so much better

BGuigar

Had to switch to this app when Microsoft discontinued Wunderlist, and I have been miserable ever since. Even the easiest things I did with Wunderlist are a challenge now. Just horrible.

Search option

Great app. Only thing missing is the ability to search within your lists

It’s pretty good

Tms56

This has been a decent replacement for Wunderlist (although I still miss Wunderlist…). I’ve had a few issues with syncing and my iPad mini 2 is going to quit syncing entirely in the near future it appears. One thing I really miss is being able to type a due date at the end of an entry and having the app understand that it is indeed a due date and not additional text. With To Do I have to pull up a calendar and select a date, and then remember to go back and hit Enter on the task. I can’t count the number of times I’ve thought I created a task only to discover that I never hit Enter after picking a due date. All in all, though, it keeps me organized.

very basic problems

Mitch Holladay

wouldn’t have been hard to make this app a millions times quicker to use. also, the character limit in the list item makes the app far less useful than if I could just put everything I need to say in one bulletpoint instead of needing to use the note section for each point. that’s one of five complaints I have. not interested in listing the others unless Microsoft wants to pay me. overall pretty disappointed because I really liked the idea of moving items from different lists into the “my day” list.

Good for tracking lists

Tripgrrl

It’s easy and good for tracking. However often times, since I’m left-handed, I move tasks accidentally back from the DONE list to being something to be done accidentally.

MyDay

GGerlach

Need the ability to plan MyDay the day before. Simple solution may be that the User needs to delete items from his/her MyDay planner instead of these items automatically clearing each day.

The best to-do app

bibi10890

I have used many to-do apps and this one is the best one. It allows me to create lists and priotizes my things. It’s very convenient and helpful to follow up with what to do on the go. It guides me complete daily tasks effectively. Highly recommend to everyone.

Needs more!

Boydston01

Very nice, simple todo app with a thoughtful “today” feature. It’s great that it syncs with Outlook exchange! However, I wish it were a full fledged todo management system. Basically, it needs parity with Outlook tasks. Then it would be an industry leading application!
