That smart guy
I never thought this day would come, but Microsoft has resurrected its beloved Photosynth app as a feature of Microsoft Pix. I loved that app, and nothing has ever taken its place since it was retired several years ago. THANK YOU MICROSOFT! I

Pretty darn good. It has a lot of fun features as well as several good ones ie business card scanning

I really needed an app to scan the business cards and sync with LinkedIn. MSFT does not do a great job at recognizing cards (90% failure rate in my test - 1/10) and does not sync with LinkedIn.

This app is cool how it has photosynth but trying to figure out where stuff saves and not having pro mode (Iso shutter speed appature) please bring to Microsoft pixs

Just taking a moment to let the rest of the world know how excited I am about this app. Thanks Microsoft.

I like this so well, I’ve hidden the native Camera app, and always use this. Unless you’re going to use ProCamera or it’s equivalent, it’s hard to use Camera and compose a better result, without using multiple apps. So often I am taking shots in less than optimal conditions. I automatically take three shots, compare them on a big screen, take the best. Then crop it to adjust before I’ve cropped it, adjust brightness, contrast, and color. That all takes time, and triples my storage requirements in the interim. MS Pix does more than that (less the cropping) automatically, using their AI, so deliver better shots the first time. And I am very happy with the results. I can still go in and fine-tune later, but don’t waste all the time. I get a better first-pass result. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.
