Great except for one thing...

There is no way (that I know of) to sort the tabs alphabetically or numerically, unless you do it manually by dragging each tab to the desired position. If it weren’t for that, I would have given it a five star rating.

Information Management Lite

HPRefugee

OneNote is great for daily notes that are then transferred to action items. Works well with small databases such as inter-Teams usage, but after 5 years of using it for my one source of information storage, problems occur. Search is sorely lacking, making any deep research frustrating. Even after reindexing. Not to pick on MS, but many of the other non-MS products have the same lack of power. The only exception are a couple of Markdown apps and potentially the improved legacy Notes. However, I don’t have the time nor courage to jump into the deep end. If you are looking for Document or Information Management, look elsewhere.

It's got everything I Need (Except the option to create more section folders on mobile ?)

I've been using OneNote for my own, personal journaling, goal setting, note taking, and creative writing purposes, and it's done a great job of helping me create and organize my thoughts into their various categories, not to mention it has a great search feature which allows me to look for pages I lose in my web of notes by typing into the search some key words that I know (or at least am pretty sure), are on the page I'm looking for. The only thing I wish the mobile version had is the option to create new section groups (the OneNote equivalent of folders), like I'm able to do on the desktop app. Other than that, I give this app a 5 star review ?????!!

Perfect for Journaling and references

Harry, Sunnyvale

No, it’s not intended to replace Microsoft Word. It is perfect for keeping daily journals and collecting YouTube links for future reference. I use it for these things, and Microsoft Word for more structured writing.

No auto sort

0986754321890765

You have sent me at least 2 e mails asking how one note can be improved. Each time I answered that you should enable auto sorting of a new entry either by date or alphabetically Obviously this has not been done and you provided no feedback to me to why. I think you should have responded to me why this can’t be or isn’t being done
