I’ve had a lot of problems with Excel saving to Dropbox. It always (yes, always) needs to save multiple copies of each file. Sometimes, the copies are blank, and I must wait for another copy to be uploaded to see the changes I’ve made. The functionality, though in no way as user friendly as the desktop version, is better than Google Sheets, but it’s nowhere near as reliable. The app has some pluses but is, on the whole, disappointing.

I’ve been using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, et al for years on all my various PSs and Laptops. Having access to them on my iPhones is a great convenience. And, BTW, they function there quite well! Now I just need to get a better handle on how the iPhone manages the multiple files and drives! ? Jan. 2021 - continues to be my “go-to” for everything number & mini-macro needs.

Cannot easily modify graphs like on Windows desktop. Also copy and paste of cell data is a bit clunky.

It takes a little getting used to on the ipad but once you get some practice, it works fine.

This app is somewhat restrictive on a iPad or iPhone. I like excel and know its not apple product. I still use it. Basic functions are not on the app or that I learned how to use yet.

I have been able to use the app on my phone and older tablet, but now with my newer tablet I have to have a subscription. I do all my work on excel, why now. What happened to using only the free part?
