Fees

The app is okay but be wary of fees. It is not very clear that there is an activation fee as well as hourly fee.

I love this app!

I’ve tried to use the bikes yesterday with no success! The code that is asked in the bike wasn't possible to transfer to the app. I've tried several bikes! In some point one bike was unlocked seems to be available but in seconds was locked again! That happened 3 times! Witch I got all the 3 emails ”thank you for riding with us”. RIDICULOUS. A friend of mine was trying as well and guess what?! No success! She called the support and no one could help us. When she asked for a refund they hung up on her.

Can’t unlock a bike from the app

Many steps involved—the app is really just a map, which is confusing. Makes you use a second app, and even that demands you log in to your TAP card. Even with a registered Tap card, still can’t get a bike — it insisted my registered Tap card wasn’t registered with Metro Bike, though there is no page to do that on. Bizarrely difficult, multi-app process that never even had a solution.

Garbage

Wow. This is what our tax dollars are going towards? My parents are in town and we thought it would be great to use these bikes. After 30 frustrating minutes trying to understand how this app works, we decided to walk instead. As an app designer myself I’m amazed at how confusing it is to unlock a bike. It’s as if the Metro designers worked hard to make it especially difficult.

Do not bother using!

This app is design to lose patient. Whoever design the process does not know what people want to purchase. It is really difficult to handle and to get to work. I couldn’t set up my account in order to use it. Please don’t use this trash app.

Does absolutely nothing

It’s just a map that redirects to BCycle, and a Web view around the taptogo web site. 1. Skip this and download BCycle - that’s the app that actually unlocks the bikes. 2. Now go to https://taptogo.net, and create an account. 3. Sign in, and register your TAP card. 4. Now add a card for payments, or set up PayPal. 5. Click the hamburger menu and select Programs -> Metro Bike Share. Scroll down to the Passes, and enroll in one of them. 6. Open the BCycle app, and log in. Now find a bike and use BCycle to unlock it.

Be warned won’t work instantly.

Take several days to work. FYI.

Terrible experience

After being bounced back and forth between the website and the app I was unable to even understand how I was supposed to use a bike. Given there’s a template for this with other apps already it’s amazing how wrong this app gets it.

Very misleading

Was given the impression i would be able to use my tap card to unlock the bike but when i called i was told that they want you to buy another card and make payments and pay on it or some dumb mess
