I wrote a much longer review, but unfortunately the App Store glitched and ate it. So I will summarize: get this game. It will NOT screw you over with unexpected skill checks after a plot twist, it WILL reward a determined strategy, it will NOT subject you to fake choices that affect nothing, it WILL give you a variety of meaningful options, it WILL allow you to succeed by playing to your strengths, it WILL offer multiple intelligent trade-offs, and it WILL NOT railroad you into failing encounters, though you can fail if you don't play to your strengths. Plot is great, characters are good, choices are engaging. If you've ever wanted to know more about the Ominous Super-Advanced Corporations in cyberpunk or urban fantasy settings, work for one, reform one, or ruthlessly exploit one for everything it's worth, buy this game!
I gotta say I really liked this one! After I had put quite a few hours into Wise Use of Time I looked for similar or urban concepts from that bundle thing. And lemme’ tell you this game is awesome! I don’t know when I started but rest assured I “finished” around 4:00 A.M. and I enjoyed every minute! (Warning: If you have to do something tomorrow don’t play this game. Playing this game may cause loss of sleep and or sitting on your phone all night/morning when you fall asleep)
Just adding to the pile here, which should tell the moderators something along the lines of "fix this game".
I've been an avid player of these games for a couple of years now. This game has easily stolen the place of Hero Project as my personal favorite that has ever been written. Well worth the money and well worth the time.
The story is excellent: pacing, characterization, plot, and just overall lovely writing. Highly recommended, one of the best CoG I've played yet. On a side note: I haven't had the problems mentioned in early reviews about bugginess.
