Great concept, but it would be great if there was a way for my daughter to be able to talk to her dad who I am not friends with on Facebook.

Both my kids have Samsung tablets and I downloaded this app. I created their accounts with only family members as contacts. I noticed the contacts aren’t showing up on one of the tablets and on the other they can message anyone I’ve ever had in my main Facebook account which is totally unsafe. After deleting and re installing i just deleted it off both tablets due to the fact they can message anyone without having to ask and all the contacts I put as ok aren’t even showing up on the list. However I downloaded this app on my iPhone and it works perfectly. They can only see the contacts I added and no one else. However my kids don’t have iPhones for now and won’t be getting any, anytime soon so for now good bye Facebook messenger for kids. ?

What happened to notifications?

No longer receive notifications. There’s no way to turn them off or on under setting either. Every time I open the app it prompts me to enable notifications but I can’t.

I love this app. My kids can call their grandparents any time they want. Makes the family happy. However the kids can send little GiFs however I can’t send them back at all. Makes me a little upset. If that could be changed that would be great. Other then that it’s great. Also the other reason I didn’t give it the last two starts was because video quality isn’t the best. So if that could all be fixed that would be wonderful

We live away from family; therefore, this app enables our kiddos to send messages safely to family in a fun way! Lessons on “sticker etiquette” (not sending too many) as well as practicing asking questions has been helpful. My daughter is sad that the kids’ version doesn’t have Pusheen stickers but the adult version does. Hopeful that changes :). Again, this is a safe ... which is key

I love this app for my son but I wish I could use the same filters as he can.

it would be nice to have the ability to set the other parent as an administrator as well, particularly for families that are divorced so that all of the family members on both sides can be added.
