This app is great for littler kids but not great for kids like me, going into 7th grade. I am right in between the ages for littler kids that use Messenger Kids is definitely more aimed to and between the age limit for social media. It treats you like a baby, and it is WAYYY too overprotective. If parents can look at texts, then why ask to add a contact? I would much rather use Message that comes on my phone. I really only got it to text my younger cousins that aren't old enough to have a phone/tablet. And I still don't use it that much. Maybe make a Messenger Teens or Messenger Preteens, please. Another suggestion, can we choose a picture from the camera roll instead of having to take a picture on the spot for our profile picture?

My parents put this on my phone and I hate it, the filters make you look ugly, I’m 12 almost 13 NOT 2 almost 3, put filters on there that are more mature, 2 MAKE IT ABLE TO USE BITMOJI 3 why are there monsters that look so weird 4 I feel like I have no freedom and that I’m being stalked, if you can fix those Mabey I’ll use there’s no deficients, Also stop sending me notifications over nothing

Great idea. Downloaded this for my son. For nah Sayers who ask why kids need a message app, I got this for my 9 year (who is to young to have his own phone) to be able to reach me when I am out of the house. His dad works nights and I would rather him not not wake him to ask if he can open the graham crackers

I'm 13 going to be 14 and my parents installed this on my iPod, I get that the app is supposed to be a way kids can text their parents especially if they have an iPod or iPad but since I'm a teen I already have snapchat and Instagram to text my dad. I would use the app more to talk to my family if I didn't need wifi to use it. I know adults think kids now don't go outside often and always need to be connected to wifi, and yes I do stay inside a lot but me and my parents go camping so I don't have any wifi so when my parents go to an activity that's just for adults I have no way to contact them. Also there should be a teen mod that's less childish because there is probably other 13 and 14 year olds who's parents download the app for them that don't want/like the childish missions, filters and stickers.

The app goes to sleep?Dumbest.I’m only 8 and you can’t fool me.Apps can’t really go to sleep.It turns off at only 9:30pm!It turns on at 7:15am
Won’t switch between accounts

I have both children on the app and it won’t allow me to switch between their accounts without deleting and reinstalling every time. They’re enjoying talking to family so I would love to see this fixed.

As a kid, the filters stink!! I’m 10, and this for 5 year olds. Plus parents have too much control. I can’t even talk with friends. If I was u download Snapchat

, I mean, I’m thinking about what it would be like, if I didn’t need Wi-Fi, but come on now, I won’t let me open the app, I think it’s glitching, it won’t let me select one of my contacts, it just kicks me out of the app, could you help me, could you fix this? I can’t talk to one of my friends right now, I’m trying to click on her, but it kicks me out of the app Could be better, if it did not need Wi-Fi, And also, I love that it is very secure, great job, but, I’m do you thinking about what it would be like, if it did not need Wi-Fi

I wanted to talk to my mom when she was at work so we used email but we realized that took to long. So we downloaded messenger kids because I wasn’t allowed to have a Facebook account. And let me tell u it is awesome you can video chat your friends and family and you can text them to you can also make groups and earn badges. This app is awesome.
