Two big things - location and control - are suspect. On stolen/lost devices, trying to locate them - even last location - has been way off. There is also moderate tax/hit on battery life for this merely average visibility and control.

I was happy to see there is a app now but it is missing something important. There are other tracking apps that lock settings so the users can't change them. Also the location service looks to always be active.

As other reviewers have stated, if you turn on GPS tracking, the location services will always be on and it will destroy your battery life. If the app only did location polling when requested by the web interface or at specified intervals, it would be much more useful feature. As it stands, it is quite unusable because of the effects on battery life. Please fix the app as the systems manager is a great tool!

I love Meraki devices and their concept, however, this app needs work. Biggest issue, location services seems to be pulling constantly (rather than giving/pushing location only when requested) It drains battery life. I have to turn location services off which decreases major functionality of the app - knowing location of devices within our outside the network. When this is fixed, I'll be happy to give more stars!

I wanted to us this app to more easily manage my home Meraki network. Unfortunately, I can't use this app at all because the installation of a MDM (mobile device manager) profile on my iPhone is mandatory. However, I already have another MDM installed (required by my employer) and you can only have one installed on your phone. I don't want this app to manage my phone. I just want to use the app to manage my network.

Still draining battery like it’s going out of style. This could be a great little frontend to a great service! Unfortunately it is marred by the same design flaw that has caused the same problems for the big boys in MDM, which is that the programmers haven't figured out that GPS doesn't need to be on 24/7. Polling every 15 minutes or longer, or even having an administrator-defined poll period, would be much better.

After loading iOS7 the App does not find the previous enrollment and even after reoloading the profiles on the device the App continues to say it is Waiting for MDM Enrollment to complete and never ends. This is a big deal since we have Meraki on over 1000 devices in our School District.

There have been a lot of improvements made on battery life and efficiency for this app. I'm definitely a fan. Works great on iOS 7.
