Doesn't work

Keeps saying I don't have a FB profile picture. Skip this app.

Always a problem

Jabriny

Everytime this App gets fixed, something else breaks. Last time, you couldn't log in. Now, you can't view your messages as it's a blank screen when you click for messages. Either that or it has all been deleted. Whatever it is, this App needs a revamp.

Incredibly disappointing...

The last two updates do not fix all the issues. Messaging still does not work. If you match with someone, you cannot contact them. Matches and messages remain blank. This app has been in development for over two years and bugs continue to plague the experience.

Never Works

This app is riddled with bugs and issues. The messenger component is unreliable. This app has potential to be great but clearly it has not been completely vetted. Unfortunately, this app is undermining its full potential. Too many bugs and really clitchy. Also, appearance is not clean and concise looks like a decent engineering project-from a not great student! Do better!

Amazing app but it glitches more than it works

Minifaith

Good: ~Great selection of men and for a West coast living woman that's huge! ~Clean app with a great design ~The idea of the app is amazing Bad: ~premium membership doesn't work ~chats disappear if you connect with someone ~cannot like someone back ~no response from the app creators ~You must list your email or social media to connect since the app doesn't work ~messages disappear after you send them, if and when you can... Warning: Do not purchase the premium upgrade! I did and I still don't have unlimited browsing, I haven't heard back from the developer and I basically wasted $14.99

Amazing app horrible functionality

Xthegr8

I'm not sure why the problems continue but the app just doesn't work. I've matched some beautiful women only to not be able to talk to them. Sad because I wanna support but this is ridiculous

Horrible and unusable!

There isn't enough negative stars to give this app. I haven't been able to use this app for months and now all of my matches have been deleted as well as the messages. Emailed support and then didn't help one bit! See below. Hi Mr... Thanks for contacting us. We do apologise for the inconvenience, our tech team is currently working to fix these issues with the new version of the app. Thanks, Jessica Customer Success- MELD. I've deleted and added the app twice and still having the same issue. Don't download this crap!

App doesn't live up to its expectations

B.Sheree

There are continuous issues with the user experience. At the beginning of the year, you couldn't log in. Once that was fixed, then you couldn't message your matches!!! It's aggravating and annoying to say the least. You finally find those with a common interest, match them, then the matches disappear into thin air. This app is a great idea however it doesn't live up to its own objectives and expectations.

App is a great concept and has potentional

MELD definitely understands the need for black professionals to have a platform to find quality compatible matches. There seems to be a great number of quality men. Not many in my area, but a good selection overall. Only 5% of profiles completed the "About Me" field which makes me wonder if the others simply signed up to help increases numbers, or were not serious about making a connection. While I understand the business model of upgrading for more searches and the ability to communicate, additional features are needed for the free version. My reason for 2 stars: 1) App is glitchy and freezes at times. 2) My MELD preferences seemed to change automatically, so I had to change back and save several times. 3) Users should be required to complete all info. As noted above. A very small number actually stated something about them so it felt more like Tinder because you were deciding based on looks only. The app definitely has potential and I'm hoping the founders are able to complete upgrade as suggested by many for a better experience. I've chosen to not upgrade and deactivate my account as I do not feel that I will make a connection. I chose to try the app despite the review I read to try for myself. Unfortunately, my experience was the same as the majority. Again, great concept MELD! Hopefully your team can come up with more ideas to enhance the app and monetize for a ROI.
