Already experiencing annoyances
Am considering deleting
So I just downloaded the app and downloaded within 10 minutes of using I learned without a premium membership you can only view 10 options per 12 hours and you cannot "meld" back someone who "likes" you. My first impression was that this app is a waste of space and time, but I ultimately attempted to purchase a subscription which is 14.99 for a month or 32.99 for 3 months (I believe), only to be told after several times of trying, that iTunes can't be reached ?.. so a few minutes later I get an email from apple stating my subscription went through and I would be billed every month 14.99.. so it did go through? Great! Wrong! I go back to the meld app and I still have no access. I have since contacted customer service so let's see how this goes-- Overall annoyed with the experience and I haven't even gotten to the actual app yet ? Semi over it
THERE IS A GLITCH FOR UNLIMTED BROWSING

Yes.. This is a real glitch. I'll explain below. I've had the same problem with this app as reported. I buy a premium membership and am not able to meld back with any of the people that 'Like Me'. There is a popup message that says "Cannot Connect to iTunes Store" even though iTunes is fully connected to my credit card taking out the $15.99 a month. I test this on multiple iOS devices and on version 10 and 8.1 and the issue still persists. Meld's technical support is terrible and takes a week to respond. This pisses me off because the people that 'Like Me' are hella beatiful and stunning, yet I have no way to talk to them :/ So throughout my extensive troubleshooting, I found a nifty little glicth for unlimited browing without having to pay for a subscription... Open the app, then set your desired melding preferences after you sign up. After that, browse through mo more than six (6) users, then force close the app. After you reopen it, the browsing feature will reset itself. Warning: If you browse ten users at once then you gotta wait another 12 hours to browse again. The caveat is: it may take a while you to find and meld back with the person that 'Likes You', but you won't have to pay $15.99 for a service that really doesn't work for right now. In all, I think this is one of the best dating apps for black people out on the market right now. There are a lot of quality people using this app and the opportunity to connect with them should not go to waste like this. The goal of this review is to get the attention of the developer and have them get on their sh*t to fix this app.

I signed up for the 3 month subscription, and I never received the services that came with it. I emailed tech support, and I did not get an answer. Before I was charged, I deleted the app but I was still charged multiple times even though Apple.com says I have no order history. I decided to contact Apple, but I could not get a hold of a human on live chat, phone, or email. I never received an email response even though I was told I would get a response in 48 hours. Don't purchase anything from Apple iTunes Store. It has been months, and I am still fighting for my refund.

I requested a refund within 30 minutes of activating service, no one responded. I didn't like that I have to change my Linkedin profile in order to change personal info that I want to keep hidden from this dating app. There are little to no matches located in my area, so this is basically a useless app for me(DMV area). I would never recommend this app to anyone because again they completely ignored my same day refund request. Terrible customer service. Now I am forced to keep an app, that is completely useless, just so I don't feel like I wasted my money. When thinking about it, this is still money wasted so I will probably just deactivate the account this week and just forget about the money that was lost(feels like stolen). Disappointing

No matter where I am in the country (I travel extensively for work), there are never more than 2-3 matches. A total and complete waste of money.

But it's super limited if you're not premium. Which I don't mind because I'm not actively seeking a relationship. But if you are then you may want to either try premium or use a free site like POF to give you more options per day.

I really liked the app. Even signed up for a premium membership. But out of nowhere the app stopped working and I cannot even sign in anymore. No solution found.

Filled with glitches. Can't delete unwanted profiles. Can't access your own profile. Very slow app. Has a lot of bugs.
