Just one problem

Justin Brainerd

So, I have been playing this game since May 2017, so I am really loving it! Thank you for finally adding the ability to watch videos to earn Megabucks. One thing I am really upset about is the amount of lag. I can barely play it because it freezes for about 20 seconds every 10 seconds when it loads in. It never really goes away, but it speeds up as I complete various contracts and collect money/residents. Please fix this. If it is just me, I would like some advice on speeding the game up. Thanks and keep up the good work!

What I think needs to be added

Wabbitswife

Judging by the diversity of the map I think they should add a area just for agriculture I’m thinking in major states and city’s there are farms and the other only logical reason the “city” is getting food is importing and that’s boring

Great game but do not spend money on it

HardCorps1775

I played this game and made purchases. I deleted app and lost all progress and purchases. I am still trying to get my purchases back.

What updates?

i have been playing this for years. spent money on some items. frequently freezes and erases part of what you have had completed. example i had the subway stations completed now i dont have any. the ball parks were complete now there not. its disappointing spending money on this game and than later down what youve paid for has disappeared.

Good strategy game

Eng1959

Others have complained that this game can be expensive. I don’t believe this is true. It is a strategy game and if you have patience to think things through then you need not pay a cent. It’s free fun. But if you are into instant gratification or don’t have patience to develop your strategic planning skills, the game developers give you an opportunity to take shortcuts by buying your way through. I am sure they like these types of players more than me. Challenge yourself and be patient.

Disappointed

Been playing this game for months now, now can’t even get it to load. Keep asking me to switch servers connection is lost? Don’t know what happened.

Love this game.

I started playing this in place of Cityville. I now have 2 cities on 2 different devices. Great way to pass time. There are sometimes problems with loading but that’s expected with the amount of graphics displayed.

Once you get everything open in the main map you’re stuck.

Have stuck with it for years

The game will allow you to spend money, but you absolutely don’t have to. I’ve spent very little real dollars over the years and have an enormous landmass. It’s the closest thing to SimCity (the original, not the sub-par mobile version) we are going to get!

Ignore the expense complaints its not pay to win

Megapolis is unique in that it allows you to immediately add friends (random or known) who can send you materials that normally cost the in game currency. You can make a list of the ten materials you need the most and your friends will see it and send them every day. You can also join a State and ask for materials there as well. I have 57 random neighbors as well as my state who send me stuff all the time. To get the most out of this game it is worth it at the start to buy and spend megabucks on acquiring neighbors. It will give you a steady stream of materials you have requested. Best feature of the game that sets it apart from pay to win/play. The people who claim it takes forever to build stuff clearly have not taken advantage of the neighbor and State features...i admit I was one at first until I figured out how easy it was. Been playing for around 3 years and love it.
