Cool game but beware!

This game is so relaxing and fun to play, but it can also lull you into dropping a couple of bucks here, another few bucks there; and it’s very easy to justify getting that building material that’s now on sale and you feel like you have to get it at this great price, forgetting that you are paying for little digital bits that cost nothing in reality because in fact, they do not exist in reality, no matter how good of a sale it is! Take your time, letting the bucks build up slowly on their own. Use this game to practice building restraint on all things in life and it will serve you well rather than causing you to sell your first born child or a kidney just to get that new building.

This game is one of those games where it’s TECHNICALLY possible to do everything without paying a cent, but it’s RIDICULOUSLY hard to do so. The game occasionally rewards you with green bux (or whatever it’s called) and those are what you really want. The only efficient way to get them is to buy them with real money. If you want to expand your land? PAY MONEY. Want to build one of the projects? Buy materials, with bux, which COSTS MONEY. The short of it is, don’t play. You will be disappointed when you run out of land. Then it becomes waiting until the game gives you free things to expand your land, and that will take months. Unless you pay. Gave two stars because otherwise, this game is pretty good.
Needs a real update.

I love this game, and play it everyday. But they keep adding all theses buildings, despite the hundreds of choices you already have. This game is pretty easy to mess up on, I’ve done it once about a year ago, and again just recently. But you can’t restart without going through your iCloud, which for me, is super frustrating. So I think they need to do an update that allows new people to mess up and restart easily. It’ll keep more people interested that’s for sure. Also they need a balance update. I get this is a micro-transaction game, but the expansion documents are just ridiculous. You get some at the beginning, then throughout the rest of the game you almost never come across them, and if you do you get like 2, when you need 50 to expand. So those definitely need to be more common, since the whole point of the game is to build a city and you can’t really do that without expanding. And the materials as well. Asphalt, iron beams, etc. there needs to be a balanced way to get those and an information bubble that tells you how you can find the materials. And as far as I’m concerned, grinding the tasks to get the materials is not balanced. It takes wayyyy too long. And eventually you can’t do the tasks because you run out of room to build your city because of the expansion problem, and most tasks need you to build stuff. In the end this game needs a real, balanced update. It can lean towards the you need to pay to play, since it is a micro-transaction game, but it shouldn’t be so difficult for the people that are just trying it out before they start giving up real money, or for people like me who just don’t have the money to give.

This game is great I love to play it, however the one thing I really really really really really really really really want is a reset button!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not to mention that progress travels to the not HD version

This game is a lot of fun and gets better as I play. I definitely put it on par with Sim City and Roller Coaster Tycoon. I think you guys did a great job. Especially with the updates. My only issues is when the special projects and events happen. I feel I just don't have enough time and I don't want to pay so much money to get the events completed before time elapse so I can get the bonus prize.
